Subscriptions...

When I subscribe to a thread, and someone posts in there, I want it to notify me like it does when I get a PM or Visitor message. I got a post in a subscribed thread, but someone posted there, and I didn't know for a while. I don't really see the point in subscribing to threads if it doesn't tell you when someone posts there... | 2009-08-12 05:18:00 Author: tjb0607 Posts: 1054 |
Have you tried checking your Control panel instead? | 2009-08-12 05:51:00 Author: Count Posts: 315 |

Basically. Thread tools > Subscribe to thread Then you check your Control panel regularly. And it should pop up if there's new messages/posts. ---------- This forum is similar to SRK, because on SRK, I use subscription alot! (so as the PSN forums). Or am I missing something? I haven't checked yet if it works on this forums, but I'll let you know. | 2009-08-12 06:01:00 Author: Count Posts: 315 |
It's probably better just to make it your own personal sticky, you'll see it more often that way. | 2009-08-12 11:33:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
"thread tools -> subscribe to thread" On the next page, change "no email notification" to "instant notification by email". Then you probably wanna press "Add Subscription" to confirm You can also modify the subscription settings on a per thread basis in your CP. And default subscription settings. | 2009-08-12 11:42:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
BSPrague.. Believe me, Subscription is really good to keep track of the threads your keeping track of . And what does it mean if someone repped you with a blue square? | 2009-08-12 12:26:00 Author: Count Posts: 315 |
Yes I agree with you on this one. There should be a notification for subscribed threads. It would be very handy. | 2009-08-12 13:58:00 Author: FlameAtNight Posts: 405 |

Neutral rep is given when a brand new member, gives you positive/negative rep, it is neutral because that member hasn't been here long enough, to be able to give rep. Negative rep is always red. | 2009-08-12 15:39:00 Author: Lady_Luck__777 Posts: 3458 |

isnt that grey rep? It's more grey than blue, it could just be the way his monitor is adjusted though. | 2009-08-12 15:43:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |

Is there a limit to how many subscriptions you can have? If so, what's the cap? | 2009-08-21 16:20:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Is there a limit to how many subscriptions you can have? If so, what's the cap? I don't think so - if there is, I've never come across a setting allowing me to configure it. | 2009-08-21 19:10:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
