Sending Objects

Archive: 6 posts

Okay, I know how to download objects from the mail, but there's still one thing bugging me. How do I send objects via PSN? I don't have Offer EXP, and I need to know this for a contest. Can someone please help?2009-08-10 22:22:00

You can put it in a Prize Bubble, or you can select the object with square in the Pop-It, and hit "Send to Friend".2009-08-10 22:28:00

I'm not aware of any way to send an item to a person who is not on your friend list.

A few ways around this are that you could make and publish an empty level that has that object in it that the other person can play. They'd be able to collect the object very easily and you could delete the level once they have what they need.

If you had an existing level published you could put a sticker switch on some object at the start of the level that one shots an emitter that will pop out your object in a prize bubble.

Regular players won't know that there is any sticker switch in the level, as you set it to invisible, and you needn't worry about the object falling into nefarious hands. (In most cases.)

Then you tell the other person which object in the level to sticker, they go, get the object and then later on you could edit out the sticker switch/emitter and be done with it.

Lastly you can combine these two aspects and make a level that has a combination lock or some other mechanism that you make that you can send your friend the password to that will let them get your object.

You can look at a few posts in this forum on key locks that may give you some ideas.

Good luck

It'll still say that the sticker that triggers the switch is a trigger. But, I now know all I need. Thanks. I request that someone lock this.

You are correct on this point. However not as many people look at their sticker list when playing a random level to see that there is a sticker switch and if you put the switch on a non-obvious object then it confuses the matter a little bit more.

Not fool-proof but not obvious.

Good luck on your task.
