Alright, so everyone knows that H4H sucks, but there is a (small) advantage. When someone asks "hAve HEArtEd U Nd Ur LvLS Plz dO SamE BacK," or something similar, you gain a heart. This isn't heart for heart, and it's basically a free heart! Brilliant! ... I've just realized... I'm gonna get flamed for this.

However, you should know that a great majority of people who heart you or your levels will take their hearts back if you don't return them. Or maybe I'm wrong about how this H4H thing works... :blush:

I suppose getting a extra heart for no reason is good, but don't you want the hearts because of your cool level, not because someone else wants a trophy?

If you thought that you would get flamed for this, why bother posting it? Anyway, even if they do give you the heart, you didn't deserve it or earn it. If someone gave me a heart because they thought I was going to heart them back, I would tell them to take it off and earn their hearts. In fact, I've done that before. So that "one free heart" you just got is completely worthless, it's like Monopoly Money (at least in my opinion).

Hearts don't mean anything to me and I think it shows in my levels Generally they remove their heart after awhile I noticed.

So... your against the concept of H4Hing, aka the trading of hearts, because it unfairly gives hearts... but you'd take their hearts but not give anything in return? Bravo, resistance. Bravo.

Yeh, cant say I'd care for a pointless heart. Also, the reason the hearts will go away anyways is because after ten pages of hearted levels you start losing old hearts.

H4H'ers give away hearts for everything because they don't mean anything to them. They'll heart you and your levels without a problem, post a comment, then hope that when you see they actually did heart you you'll heart them back. They don't mind just hearting everything, because it really doesn't make a difference. As for hearts, I don't really mind them much. They're nice as a form of feedback to your levels, to show you that people like them quite a lot, but the feedback I get here is far more valuable than any amount of level hearts. Beyond the trophy, feedback, and getting your levels popular they're pretty pointless though...

I will often check out their levels. If they are crap, I'll rate them as such, delete them from my comments, and be done with them. On the other hand, if the level is any good, I'll send them a message telling them how the level is better than to be disgraced by Heart whoring it. Then I delete thier H4H crap from my comments, of course.

No, but you can go to their levels if they left a comment, and see if your levels are under their hearted levels and if you are one of their hearted creators.

A creator can see the ID of people who hearted him/his levels? Not directly, no. I don't think. But if someone claims to have to have hearted you, you can look at their hearted page...I don't recommend looking at H4H'rs hearted pages.. atrocious.

Some people think of Hearts as a type of advertising your level. Honnestly i think it's not the number of hearts, or how many people played youre level, I believe it's the comments that come back. "Great level" "Please make a sequal" "I love your level! It's original and fun" and stuff. So if the number of hearts you have, the higher chance more people will play your levels = good advertising for level. Thats my take on hearts.

I think hearts can work boath ways. If I see a level on..set's say mother misty's hearted page I know it's gonna be good, and so play it. On the other hand if I were to see a level on h4hjoe's hearted page, chances are i would actually avoid it if it came up in other searches.

Well as far as I can tell what you're describing there is exactly H4H so when I get comments like that I either ignore them,delete them or post a reply saying I don't do H4H. If they see that and then remove the heart they gave me then that's fine by me. I won't lose any sleep over it.

Yeah well, my point was that, most of them simply assume that you have hearted them back. And even if they don't, then, honestly, are they going to remember to withdraw their heart? - I know I wouldn't. On a slightly seperate note, I for one agree with KornDawwg.

You get free hearts, although, it sucks knowing that your level was only hearted by H4Hers, i never heart back though because i H4H as cheating

The thing I hate about H4H is that they're not earning their hearts the legitimate ways. So they never deserve the heart. Even if they made some cool stages and half the people regularly hearted them (without H4H). I still look down at them. As I said before. H4H has no satisfaction factor at all. But if you earn it legitimately, it's really satisfying, and deserves a pat on he back. @Spring, lol I just delete every H4H comments.

h4h is just a loop hole in cheating so your still cheating i dont really like h4h and if i found out that my friend id probaly be worried if he asked me to h4h i would say no and it'd be done with but if he constantly did it i'd delete him and never talk to him again im an anti h4her and i get angry at people who are to lazy to do anything about it so thats my opinion h4h is horrible
