But we aren't on speaking terms... ******** took my french fries without asking for the last time!

Well I should hope I would have fun here, and I also hope, as leather-monkey noted, that I fit in with the crowd! After all, since I stopped talking to the only other Canadians this world has to offer, I will be quite bored and alone without a community to talk to.

Besides that, work is boring, and I have nothing better to do.

You should definitely take advantage of F4F and post some of your levels. I've never actually tried a level that I knew was distinctly Canadian. Do they taste like maple syrup? Regardless of your level flavor, welcome to the forums, and enjoy your stay! 2009-08-10 20:37:00

Surprisingly Canadian made LBP levels taste nothing like maple syrup. I too thought that they would taste of maple goodness, or that they would at least have a flair for plaid and the outdoors, but alas, they taste more like ginger chicken and hummus... Yeah, wrap your head around that one.2009-08-10 20:59:00

Wowzers Mrs. SpookyBuz, your levels sure do have a lot of accolades!
I hope one day I can make a level as good enough to be spotlighted.

Well, thank you - it's the kind folk on here who feel sorry for me

And I'm sure if you post your levels on the Level Showcase, lots of these friendly people will play your level and offer good, honest feedback. Then, who knows... the Spotlight Crew may shine their light on you.

Well, one day soon (my level is nearly finished but I want some feedback on my ideas first and I also want to play some of the spotlighted levels as well to see if my level is at all up to par) I will publish a level and have a grand old time listening to the feedback (positive or negative) and hopefully succeeding well enough to earn the distinction of a spotlighted level!2009-08-10 21:36:00

Why thank you for the peanut. I am not allergic or anything, so I will enjoy it quite a bit, but next time you decide to offer food to people that you do not know you may wish to offer them something that will not throw them into an anaphylactic shock.

Perhaps try offering a nice organic apple!

Is my title Lint?
What a terrible thing to start off as. I'm not even sentient! While being called a flea or a gnat would be degrading as well, at least I would be a living breathing thing, not an annoying substance that has to be emptied from a trap in your dyer after each load of clothes!
Seriously... I am slightly saddened by this. I think I will blog about it to vent my frustrations in the healthiest way I know how. Screaming into my pillow no longer does the trick!

... did you... just disrespect the peanut? did you just say I should give away something OTHER then peanuts?! Man, oh... What... I can NOT live with this guy!

Send him to the pits of eternal torment!

Ha!

I love peanuts, I think they are awesome. In fact, they are so awesome that some people cannot even handle the absolute awesomeness that is a peanut (hence the anaphylactic shock). I was just saying that you may not want to be the guy responsible for sending said peon who cannot handle the awesome peanut into said anaphylactic shock.

Haha, anyways, all kidding aside, thanks for the peanut, and thanks for the welcome.

AWE! You have made me blush!

Ha, I normally hate little emoticons, but these ones are just so awesome that I can hardly resist (not quite peanut awesome I suppose, as I doubt anyone will have an allergic reaction upon the viewing of these cute little smiley faces ( )).

And yeah, the little sack emotes are great aren't they?

They really are quite fantastic. Perhaps I will become so transfixed by their cute little mugs that I will turn into one of those oh-so annoying people who respond exclusively with emoticons and acronyms.

Hi Frazer951. Nice artwork on the Sig btw.

Welcome to our special place in the galaxy. As you have discovered, there is quite a cross-section of the world represented here...and we all share a passion...fruitcake...the kind like Grandma used to make! The gelatinous substance that holds continents together (in a colorful way), clouds in the sky, treetops in the air, and pink floaty and dark matter at bay.

We also share another passion...LBP!

I believe you will enjoy it here...loads of useful information, very talented creators, friends to be made, and more.

If there is anything you need help with, just ask me or anyone of the wonderful people here.

See you around the forums.

I have gone through this thread now and you seem like a nice addition to our gang of misfits!
I see you have received your peanut, met with some of our obscure residents and offered some insight about yourself.
All is well in the world of forums once more.

Welcome to the forums, Frazer!!
Hope you enjoy it here!!

See, I am a nice guy! I would never negative rep someone on purpose unless of course they were being awful little heathens spreading discontent and verbal fecal matter in a forum.

Anyways, thanks for the welcome and thanks for the friend request!

Welcome to LBPC Frazer!

Perhaps he heeded my warning of anaphylactic shock (what a wonderful word!) and stopped giving them out to people. After all, if he wishes to safely hand out peanuts to everyone he would be wise to give a nice package of antihistamines as well and that could be come rather expensive.

So instead of being sad about the lack of peanut offerings, instead view it as an act of kindness; He only wishes to spare you the discomfort of bronchospasm.

Having said all of this, I don't full well know all of his intentions... perhaps he ran out of peanuts?

It's funny that you say that. My first level is finally complete but all of the dialogue I put in it was somewhat stiff. However, upon hearing that people thought my sarcastic remarks were funny I decided to re-write all of the dialogue in my level so that it was a bit more fun. I'm still not sure if it is a good choice, as the tone of my level is rather serious. I guess the only thing to do is publish my level and see what people have for feedback.

I never even noticed... I suppose 4 pages is awfully long for simple introductions! And no worries, while I have only been on here for two or so days I am quite enjoying my stay here. So please, just put the silly stick down and stop beating me with it... I see the light!
