Ok.......WTF?! Why do so many people go around posting the letter "j" in comment boxes? I'm surprised there's never been a topic about this, at least according to the similar threads that came up when making this one. Is there some kind of obvious answer to this that I'm not seeing, because surely I'm not the only one who has noticed this? It's everywhere. It's creepy. It's..... j!

I've always wondered this, it's kinda weird. I actually thought I was the only one that was clueless about this since noone has ever complained. Btw although "j" is usually the letter that is mostly posted, other letters in the alphabet are also used.

"j" is short for: I don't have a keyboard and am thus stuck with this horrible system that Sony has given us to communicate. You've asked me in the description and/or level to comment, but I am unable because of the aforementioned lack of keyboard. Instead, to follow your request, I am going to post a comment of a single letter. I chose "j" because I love that letter, and it rhymes with jelly. No wait, it doesn't, it's just my favorite. "j" Just kidding, I have no idea.

I think its either people without a keyboard pressing it by mistake or the other classic....... trophies. you get a trophy for making a certain amount of comments right? well people on LBP have proven before that they like to obtain these the easy way and whats easier then a 1 letter comment

for the thropy. and you playstation starts at the jkl when you go and make a message. (if you start to make a message and dont hit any arrowbuttons but just x, j is the first letter you will type)

I was wondering this myself.... It's GOT to mean something - if a person doesn't have a keyboard, they have to slightly go out of there was to put a "j". If they HAVE a keyboard, it's just as easy to hit about any character.... But it's ALWAYS 'j'. It has to have some meaning. I've been picturing people trying to tell me my level is "jreat!"

It's "J" as in: "Your level is so good that I can't even imagine ever making one of this caliber. You simply rock. Your mum too." .

It stands for "jump" because you have to do at least one of those in the level. You can then reply with O for "obviously" or H for "heart me and my level and I will heart you back". Seriously though, I just don't get it, I sometimes thought it meant maybe "joke" or something.

Haha, looks like wexfordian and Dexist solved the mystery. I always use a keyboard and forgot that the horrible, unbelievably idiotic keypad thing they force you to use started at j. Trophies....figures. You know, it might not be a bad idea for a level! "The J Phenomenon". Sackboy solves the mystery of the mysterious "j" being posted around LBP.

Often when I enter the bowling halls in Home I end up in some spanish / mexican / god knows what - room and all they type is JEJEJEJEJJEJ JUEGO STRIKEEEEEEEEE!!!! JAJAJAJAJ JEJEJEJ STRIKE!!!. I think j is short for some of that.

"J" is the first letter available when you pull up your poppit in the type mode. So I gues it's some one pressing X and then start twice.
