There are many great levels out there, and i beleive most of the people in this forum is responsible for it. I have yet to publish one though Moving on, do you consider level making a hobby? Having a special time slot every week to make your levels? Or do you just make levels when you feel like it? I personally only make levels when i get an intresting idea, or when i feel like making one (probably why i havn't published much yet) How about you?

When I start work on a level I am dedicated, I usually work on a level when I am a good mood. I definetly wouldn't wanna be in a crappy mood and for it to reflect on the level. I've been working on a level for alittle over 2 months now, it's about 75% on the thermometer but I only see the level 60% done, it can be tough be ultimately I want the level to show what I can do and for it to be able to be put up there with some of the best levels.

I'd definitely consider it a hobby of sorts. I create that much that sometimes it can feel like a chore though. Sometimes when I'm getting near the end of a level and I've been working on it a very long time, I get to the stage where I just want to get it finished, so keep going, even though I'm not really enjoying it.

Working on a level could be a lot of fun, even if sometimes it's too much frustrating. Anyway I take it very seriously since people have to enjoy my work and not get frustrated. So it's something that takes your mind away completely.

It's got to be a hobby hasn't it - who doesn't enjoy creating level!? But yeah, sometimes people will comntinue to create - just to finish a level. I know I do that when I near the end of a project. It's why very, very few levels have a brilliant ending after being just as brilliant throughout (although Jackofcourse's 2 player one is amazing to behold at the end!) I just love to create and I'll leave create mode open for if I have a sudden idea and want to rush to the PS3

I mostly just pop into create mode a couple of times a week and try to work some stuff out. If nothing works right that day, oh well, off to play some levels. So it's not really a hobby of mine as much as something I just... do. I think that's why it takes me ages to make levels that aren't five seconds long...

I build when i'm not playing online (not very often) just when i get an idea, then i usually get stuck with it, and have to finish it, or, get bored, and just dump it in one of my published levels in a hidden place, e.g. my costume room now contains the start to 5 levels

I create whenever I can find the time. I used to live in create mode but now I play 90% of the time and create the rest of the time. I have to block off times to actually create.

I create when I feel like it. I'm not very creative, I don't get many ideas. When I'm near the end, I rush to finish. All my levels are bad. <sigh>
