Yup, no autosave feature.

Lesson learned though right? And you'll be better at Spore now you have to start again!

Spore always looked too uncreative compared to lbp. That put me off so I didnt get it.

I lost 10 hours of GTA play time...

Yeah, LBP doesn't have anything to worry about with Spore. It's fun don't get me wrong. But once you play it through it's pretty much the same game over and over. Now LBP on the other hand will be like an endless toy box of fun. I did think it was funny when you start Spore it gives you the choice of play, create, and share.

This was the first thing I noticed when the game booted up. I was pretty surprised.

The game is awesome with some absolutely amazing editors, but it just seems once you get to space, what's really left? You continue to take over other star systems by mundane tasks repeatedly? I'm just bummed that the Civ stage isn't more in depth. Sure it's kind of fun to terraform planets and it's quite satisfying to bring a planet from T0 to a T3 planet. But there's something lacking. I think I'm in denial with the fact that the game is pretty much over. It was fun, creating was amazing but what's left?

Ok, sorry, kinda went off there.
I'm done.

The goal of space is to get to the Center

MASSIVE SPORE SPOILER ALERT, I REPEAT MASSIVE SPORE ENDING SPOILER ALERT. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!

And you get the staff of life as a reward

ANOTHER MAJOR SPOILER. I DID WARN YOU.

I think it instantly terraforms planets for you

Nice! I guess it's possible to do but right now it seems totally impossible. I went to the center just hopping from star system to star system eventually getting very close only to discover that every star system in the center is overrun by the Grok. (I think that's what they're called). Anyway, needless to say, I was instantly killed.

Thanks, now I have a new goal.

Oh yeah, what ever happened to being able to create your own foliage or plant life. They said from the beginning that you could create everything from the creatures, buildings, vehicles and plants. I haven't seen a plant editor. Any thoughts on that? Is the at what the reward allows?

They're really two different things completely.
You can't really compare them.

LBP is going to remove all social activities from our lives that don't involve logging into the PSN.

While SPORE will remove any time in your life that could be spent obsessing over LBP

Spore = Just a way to burn time until LBP comes out.

I like the game though. Pretty impressive. I also like laying waste to other peoples creatures. I got to the Space stage as a religious zealot but I started to get my butt kicked. Kind of screwed up and didn't complete the homeworld missions before running around meeting others.

Started over. Got a pretty sweet looking creature and I just got back to space. I plan on doing it right this time.

I strongly suggest getting a few Sporecasts. It will help with getting a wider range of creatures. I ran into myself the first time I hit space, pretty lame. Stack that spice and sell it like your playing the original dopewars game and you're going to be set.

Don't let your love for LittleBigPlanet blind you.
This could still be the case for LBP.

Awaiting flame posts.

LOL, you are funny. I do think that LBP could fail from some of the peoples hype they have put onto this. But what burlap said about a endless game is true because people can keep creating new levels and so it kind of is endless fun.
