HD PVR Help Please :)

I'm thinking about buying a HD video recorder but have no idea which one to buy. I would like one that records good quality video, but I don't really want to be paying in the 100's.

So is there anyone out there who knows of a good value for money HD PVR? Any links would be very helpful too.

(If anyone is interested, it is for recording LBP).

I use a Hauppauge HD PVR. You'll also need a program that can render it into HD, or else the PVRs HD ability will be useless. Sony Vegas Pro is great, and there are ways to get it for free. Youtube it.2009-08-07 20:47:00

I think you might have read it wrong, he didn't say that. He said you need a program that can render HD footage to make use of your HD footage.
