So what about those who play on one PS3 but want to voice chat?

Assume both players are using one console and go online. If player1 plugs in a USB headset, and player2 does the same, how will the console know which headset corresponds to their respective player? Will we have the option to assign a headset to a player?

Does anyone know anything about this? 'Cuz then either the Sackperson's lips won't synch properly (since the game doesn't know player2 talking is actually player2 in the game), or they won't synch at all. I guess they'll still get sound through, but yeah...

With other games like this, only player 1 could use a headset. But this was on XBOX with Halo 2. I dont know how this is going to work.2008-09-09 18:58:00

Ahh, they'll find a way around it I guess.

OR. When player 2 goes onto their XMB, then registers THEIR Headset with player two's account?

They could do it in a number of ways. The easiest would to just make it so that both players can use seperate mics. By registering it (Like the controllers).2008-09-09 19:20:00

Sadly I can't speak from experience as I've had nothing but trouble with PS online so far, but I imagine it will be p1 has working headset and that's it.

Otherwise it could be done from left to right on USB ports? I'm not sure.
