A special material like dissolve that when a switch activates it, will light up in the color of your choosing.You could make complicated shapes and have them light up via switches without having to place a bunch of LED lights, which can be tedious. This would be pretty cool What do you think?

As long as it's different enough and it doesn't follow any specific plan that someone else laid out, they can add it in. Materials that emit light would be something that they could easily add in without any legal issues, as it's a general concept and not a specific set of design plans.

I've always thought you should have some sort of legal agreement for this forum that lets Mm use any suggestions without legal issues.

Although if it WAS exactly the same... Wouldn't this thread have sunk way down with no new posts by the time (if) they release that? So, the lawyers and...er...legal people, etc. wouldn't notice, right?
