POD tied into HOME?
Archive: 11 posts
If you've read in the manual, our little home within the game is called a POD. It will be the place to display our achievements and the gathering place for other Happy Gadders that you're currently playing with (provided your the host). Does anyone think this might be directly connected somehow with HOME? On that thought, has there been a release date for HOME yet? | 2008-09-09 17:53:00 Author: cstrfrk Posts: 74 |
On that thought, has there been a release date for HOME yet? Ahahaha, Unfortunatly not. I think the intergration with home will be on a march grander scale, but it would be neat to maybe teleport into home from the pod, or visa versa. | 2008-09-09 18:06:00 Author: Unknown User |

Well if you think about some of the other features of Home, such as how the Warhawk room will operate, it'll probably end up that the LittleBigPlanet gallery in Home will sidestep the POD. People meet up in Home, they chat and stuff there, and then they can from Home leap directly into a level in LBP together. From there, returning to the POD will likely operate in standard LBP fashion. But leaving the party would probably end up reverting back to Home. Or something like that. | 2008-10-27 04:48:00 Author: Mark D. Stroyer Posts: 632 |

*Chuckles.* Just poking fun at the age-old claims of it being vaporware. Which may or may not be the intent of the post I was responding to, now that I consider it more deeply. Considering the power of the PS3, I think it's well within the capabilities to shift easily from Home to whatever other game. Lair, for example, was graphically a complete stunner. And it only used around half the PS3's power. So yeah, I don't think Home is as much an exaggeration as you might think. | 2008-10-27 05:36:00 Author: Mark D. Stroyer Posts: 632 |
