i think the coolest thing that lbp should do is if u have music on your ps3 u should some how be able to convert it into ur level as the background music and use the album cover as the picture on the little radio thing that would be awsome then it would be full on everything is made by u right down to the music...

Copyright and server clutter are the two biggest issues. I'm guessing that MediaMolecule doesn't have servers with a capacity anywhere that of the ones that hold all of Apple's music content for iTunes. I'll reiterate my idea that we should be allowed to import and record clips (using the PSEye's microphone) of up to 5 seconds long to create our own sound effects. Imported or created clips will have their own thermometer so that people don't clutter up the servers with little clips.

Absolutely impossible... I'll give you a hint in the form af a word: copyright It's not impossible, well, not all music would be available, but songs downloaded from PSS could be, it's already been done to an extent, if I'm not mistaken you can play downloaded PSS songs from your pod.

If you check the TOS on the stuff you've downloaded from PSS then you will probably find that it is for personal use only or something along those lines. Putting it in your level is effectively distributing to other users, analogous to a form of broadcasting / streaming, which would require a far more relaxed (not to mention expensive) licensing. Completely new licencing would need to be arranged with the owners of the music. Why do you think other people in your pod can't hear "your" music.
