I thought this might be interesting for people who published a new level after the last update and was sort of in the dark about how their level was received. Judging from the comments and heart to play ratio my newest level received, I figured it would end up with 3 stars. It felt like a mixed response to me. Only 2 out of 8 people on my friends list could actually beat it, and many people in the comment box asked for more checkpoints even though there are a TON of them in there already, but a couple people really enjoyed it and said it was like a MM level. The rest was just spam and h4h, so I was SHOCKED when I saw that it received 5 stars out of over 3,000 plays! I was going to do a sequel based on the response to this and decided not to, but now I don't know. I already started making my next level so I guess I won't do the sequel right now. lol I think it might still be a glitch in the ratings system, but I did work on the level for a long time and was pleased with the way it turned out. So did anyone here post a level that suffered from the rating glitch, and if so, what were the results now that they are back? Did you get the rating you thought you would get?

hi, yeah i was surprised my 'THIS IS NOT A LEVEL free pod scoreboard' has 4 stars. was certain it would be 3 as it only has a 5% heart to play ratio. i guess naming it as i did people who dont want a free pod dont play it & those that do have rated highly. its taught me the importance of letting people know what to expect through the name as most dont bother to read level descriptions

Wait a minute, another level I published after the update still has no rating. It's an old level that was deleted completely, but I recently brought it back after the update. Hmmm... I wonder if the ratings being shown is the overall rating it got from people that rated it while the ratings weren't available, or if it's what we are getting RIGHT NOW after the fix. For all I know, the rating I have could be from only 1 person. EDIT: Ugh, these are new ratings. Our levels weren't being rated before and are just now receiving ratings. I just tested it with another account. I just gave my unrated level 5 stars (like you wouldn't ) and boom, a 5 star rating popped up.

hmm? i see what you're saying but i don't think so. i've been keeping a close eye on first 3 pages & ratings seem to be stable & not changing wildly, suggesting they have a broad average over a period of time

Ok, I logged into a 3rd account and gave 1 star to the level I'd just given 5 stars to and it went down to 3 stars. This confirms that our ratings were not only not being displayed, they weren't being saved at all. Wow.
