Spore Hero

Spore Hero is for the Wii. It's a different take on Spore and is sort of like Galactic Adventures. It looks really awesome and will probably be the first game I buy for my Wii (all the other games are my brother's). Here are some demos. I'm glad the creature creator is the same, however this time I think the creature creator will be cooler because it will really change how you play. Check out these demos from Comic-Con: YouTube - Spore Hero Demo Part 1: Fighting YouTube - Spore Hero Demo Part 2: Creature Creator and Versus | 2009-08-01 04:09:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |

Sounds interesting, I actually wanna try it out. Actually, when I first heard this, I thought they was making a Guitar Hero about spore, (Lego Rock band, DJ Hero). This is the only spore game I'm interested in. | 2009-08-01 21:11:00 Author: Ryutei Posts: 244 |

meh...I most likely won't be getting this. EDIT: To be more specific about my argument, think of it like turning LBP into a full 3D game, except this is hardcore Spore fans and turning that game into a fighting game (which I don't understand the logic behind) rather than hardcore LBP fans. | 2009-08-02 01:55:00 Author: crazymario Posts: 657 |
I have never played Spore, but my understanding of it from friends and media sources was that the creature creator was fun but the rest of it was basically terrible. I can't really see how this game will be any different from a waggle fest badly controlled game which has an interesting creature creator. Yes, that is me being pesimistic, but I also think it will turn out to be true as well. They took the interesting bit of the original game - creature creation, and put it into a different game type which I just can't see working all that well. I'd rather play Soul Calibur 4 if I wanted a 3-D fighter with a tonne of customisation and buyable upgrades. | 2009-08-03 14:58:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |

It seems like it might be clunky and unresponsive. I'll wait until reviews, of course, but I hope it turns out well. As a matter of fact, the thing I want to do most is get a friend, make some really stupid creatures, and then battle them. | 2009-08-04 02:15:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
