Golden Sun 3

Am I the only one here who loves the golden sun series? I searched for a thread, but couldn't find one... =/

ANYWAYS.... golden sun 3 was announced at E3 a while ago... I'm rather excited One of my favorite RPGs, especially because good, and its not a console one. Been dead for a couple years, but glad they're making another game. Anyone else care about this? I certainly hope so lol

I really couldn't get into the second one.

I loved both and would play this if I had a DS anymore >_<

Sunk 40 hours into GS1, and 128 into GS2 (no joke)

Best gameboy advance RPG's ever made IMO

Needless to say, I'm EXTREMELY excited for GS3 after 5 years of waiting in hope. I'm worried that the 3d visuals will impair the complexity in the puzzles that made the second SOOOO awesome 		2009-08-01 00:38:00

Inorite? Seriously, i've replayed those 2 games sooooo many times. Pretty much 70-80% of the time i played handhelds was playing those games XD

I think 3d could be interesting... the visuals certainly look decent, and some of those summons look frickin sweet What i'm REALLY hoping for is a way to transfer data again, i really loved that you could get your own group back in a way. Literally, i bought the second game and started playing, and when i realized that i could transfer data, stopped playing it, and bought the first so i could get more pwnsome characters.		2009-08-01 06:58:00

Good lord am I excited for this. I saw the annoncement back when it was made and nearly fell off my chair. Golden Sun in my eyes is the best RPG ever. I pumped hundreds of hours into GS2 and would happily do it again, infact I may go back to it now.2009-08-01 10:46:00

Wow, I remember this series as well. I love RPGs with transferrable stats, and this was one of the better ones.

The only problem is the DSi, my current working DS system, does not have a GBA slot.

The trailer pointed to the DSi though... maybe they will make it downloadable only?

Nah, I can't see that happening. All the DS Lite owners would have a fit at that... but then again, it might cause them to upgrade. Internets in the palm of your hand!

Well, even if they don't make the stats transferrable (I finished 1 but not 2) I am sure it will be a great game regardless. 		2009-08-03 15:36:00
