Level I iz working on.

So here's the plot.

You start out in a jeep.... You are driving by a canyon when the driver laughs and starts going off the edge of a cliff! You fall to the bottom and have to get back to the top. It will be structured like a MM level like having little enemys and eventually a big tower you climb only to find out that the tower is a bit too old to have people on it, so it falls down and then you find a rocket which brings you to the top.

It sounds interesting, but is there any back story to it? This seems like a level idea that would be strongly structured around a basic plot line. Why are we in a random jeep being driven off a cliff? Why did we end up at this random falling tower? Why is a random rocket bringing us to the top? And to the top of what is it bringing us?

You could include what BSprague said above... why are we there? Could it be that the driver has a grudge? Or could the point of the level be to get to this tower, where the driver's boss lives. This way, we have a story we can follow, and feel like we want to hunt down this character and whoop his you-know-what.

I think if you did this in an uber-funny way, it wouldn't need to have much of a backstory...sounds hilarious

That's another good approach, but he would have to make it blatantly obvious that the level is supposed to be funny, because comedy isn't exactly easy to convey in LittleBigPlanet.
