LBP Multiple Choice RPG

I am making a mulitple choice RPG that is set in the medival times. You can choose your future to become a lot of different things. The castle will change depending on your ideas.

Some are

King/Queen - to rule your castle.
Knight - defend your castle to stop the enimies from taking over the castle.
Builder - Upgrade your castle and build traps for the battlefield
Fixer - Fix your castle from any damage.

I am accepting ideas to build to these.

If any of you are wondering how this will work it isn't to hard to understand. At the end of each level you get a key to a level that was locked. Lets say the first level level was the intro and you choosing a boy or a girl. If you said boy a key will drop that will bring you to the next level. The difference between you choosing to be a boy or girl is just that when you talk to people they will eaither think you are a boy/girl. They will say things like "Gooday Sir" (boy) or "Gooday Maddam" (Girl)2009-07-29 19:26:00

sounds interesting at least... just try and keep the level branching down ( i really don't want to load a level just to pick my gender, then another level to pick something else... and go through several levels before i even start actually RPGing )

no other suggestions, build what inspires you!

That's a great idea, but if you really want to expand upon that, you will find yourself quickly constricted by the 20 level limit. You might want to think of a new way to structure it before you get too far into it.

I am trying to make it like at the begining your future will decided by who you talk to. For example if the first person you talk to is a guard he will direct you to a guard trainer to teach you how to fight. I am doing it that way instead of an option coming up saying "Do you want to be a guard?"

I am also trying to show that the actions you make really make a difference. For example if you become a Builder (Name may change) You can make pully action elevators to get around quicker. Ability to use catapults to defend the castle. Things like that.

You may wish to check out DCF's Project Icarus level 1.... it has somewhat of a similar idea, in that you can choose a "class" at the beginning of the level. You may be able to use a character select system instead of tacking on extra levels.2009-07-29 21:22:00

While this is indeed an awesome idea, I must ask: Is this something that you have plans to actually build and know how to, or is this just ideas for what you want to build?

This really would be very hard to build, but if you do, then yay. But i'm not holding my breath until I see that you know what you're doing.

Until then, I'll just say I've always wanted a level series like this.

I barely started this project. I thought about how to make it for the last week every chance I get. I am serious with this project. I know how to make this project so be calm I will make a demo of the level soon so you all know how these levels will play out. I just saw it. However, there didn't seem to be much too it. also, it took up nearly a fourth of the thermo, which is not good for such a level that would require TONS of logic.

And when I checked your levels out, I merely saw a H4H one and other cheap things like that.

I really would love to see a decent RPG thing in LBP, but nothing I've seen shows me that this is capable of doing so...
