COPYABLE: Gradient Work Shop 2.2swanbrown TOOL for generating gradient swathes, not a level. This started as a rig I had set up to use in edit mode. I adapted it to work in play mode (and in some ways it actually works BETTER in play mode).http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/emote/newfeatures.jpg The latest itteration: http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/utility/swanbullets.jpg New Utility: "Quick Shot" and Portable 'Quick shot' Prize bubble. a Large paste up board and Overlay screen for Re-shooting pics. This is a tool I made for myself and use a lot. It gives fine control over RGB +White, and course control over global lighting. I found it so useful, that I decided to adapt it to work in Play mode, so others could use it too! [SIZE="4"]The plan: It is meant to be available to as many creators as possible. Not just an elite few. So, I Planed to run it up cool pages, and once it reached page 1 of cool pages, I Made it completely copyable. I hoped this would have two main effects: 1- people will copy and re-publish it as there own. Normally not considered a great thing, but in this case, helpful to distribute a useful creation tool 2- Anyone who wants, can have it on their moon. (one advantage is the ability to quickly transfer from photo booth to photo via prize bubbles) What I asked Volunteers to do: 1- Help me "star up" a locked version, so it can hit cool levels with a sturdy 5 star base. 2- When it hits page one, copy, and publish it in copyable form. Many Gadders helped out, and now there are 5 pages of clones (not counting those copies that have customised or changed the title. http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_015.jpg,http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_016.jpg http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/gradprompt2.jpg http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_017.jpg,http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_019.jpg http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_020.jpg,http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_021.jpg --- http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/LBPshot_018.jpg,http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/grad_036.jpg,http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/grad_034.jpg http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/little%20big%20shots/grad_037.jpg proof board for checking your work I did some searching on LBP and This seems to be a unique app (but, hopefully, not for long). This is awesome and very useful for me!! You just made my current project better, I'll check this out ASAP. | 2009-07-29 06:48:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
this looks very useful for making custom colors, i'll have to check this out. | 2009-07-29 08:02:00 Author: Burnvictim42 Posts: 3322 |
I really dislike the way on how we have to color materials in LBP (making crappy low res stickers and use those) but until Mm comes up with a better solution (paintbucket please) this level will be a very useful tool! haven't checked the level yet... but why do you need yellow in RGB? (or does 'Y' means something else?) misty. | 2009-07-29 12:12:00 Author: Mother-Misty Posts: 574 |
also, I'm not sure if I'm using the correct material for the screen (Blue wood). I'd like to know If there is a less textured material to be used. you could try to use rubber misty. | 2009-07-29 12:20:00 Author: Mother-Misty Posts: 574 |
Wow!! Very very cool! I will have to check this one out asap. Lite_Sleeper made one quite awhile ago that works in a similar fashion, but doesn't do gradients. I will have to keep this one handy as well. You might ask him what he used for his screen as well as check out his level.. he is on this forum. ..he also has some awesome fonts!! Thanks again! | 2009-07-29 12:47:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
awesomeness! :O | 2009-07-29 12:52:00 Author: Yarbone Posts: 3036 |
Very neat idea. I will check this out in a bit. To answer one of your questions, blue wood is the smoothest material for stickering, so you've chosen wisely there. To create a rainbow type gradient, I think I have an idea for you, but it's definitely not perfect. What you could do is have each "color" be a strip of any material with lights of that color embedded in it. By pressing a button for a certain color, it would emit that strip in a chute. Pressing another color would emit a strip with that color and it would stack on top of the other one. Rinse and repeat to stack different colored strips to create a raindow of sorts. If they wanted a larger chunk of one color, then you press the button for that color several times in a row. To reset the whole design you'd have to use creature brains, since you need to dissolve the lights as well. If you need help with setting that up, I can probably give you a few pointers. | 2009-07-29 16:07:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
the unlit screen material is a good smooth material, except for the trim. edit: is this shared? i could definitely use this in my sticker studio. | 2009-07-29 17:39:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |
I love this tool! 5/5 & Heart | 2009-07-29 18:06:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |
http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/emote/thefools-1.jpg ohhh! CREATURE BRAIN! (jumps up and down clapping hands) That's Just the thing! I could emit a little module with a colored light, and creature brain, and a magnetic switch that drop down in front of a magnetic key on a slider! I think That will work Just fine! oh, yes, and a paint-ball emiter to deal with the previous iteration of light! The yellow is because the RGB wasn't working as well as I wanted with certian colors. Not sure why, but the yellow seems to help. I'm sure any best boy, or key grip could tell me why. I'm planning on adding white as well. hmm. rubber. I'l give that a try. come to think of it... now that I have creature brain teck I could have a texture button that changes the screen texture! I'll cue the emiters with mic wiz's step-motor! Wuuunderful! This F4F thing is pretty cool! Okay, but First, I'll get over to you guy's spots and get going on your projects (you do such great work, I feel petty trying to find probs) Thanks! Another tool level! Great!! I've actually never seen this type of tool before so I was very impressed by your creativity.. WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!! I really don't know how to review this tool level, but here we go. I think this is an amazing addition to all of us creators out there. This level is pretty straight forward and it does everything it tells you to perfection. I really liked the fact that you allowed everyone to see the sensors and how everything worked. My favorite utility is the grab button for the camera. genius. and also the boards to check your work. This is the first time a review a level like this, but since it does exactly what you said and has those little perks that I mentioned, I give it :star::star::star::star: & brilliant. Can't wait to see what you come up with next. If you have a chance, my F4F level is "The Descent" | 2009-07-30 03:31:00 Author: javi haguse Posts: 744 |
The yellow is because the RGB wasn't working as well as I wanted with certian colors. Not sure why, but the yellow seems to help. I'm sure any best boy, or key grip could tell me why. I'm planning on adding white as well. Yellow is made by setting red and green at 100% White is made by setting red, green and blue at 100% Those extra controls (yellow/white) make it all very confusing because you don't need them at all, but hey, if that works better for you who am I to stop you misty. | 2009-07-30 07:29:00 Author: Mother-Misty Posts: 574 |
I really loved this tool. I've never been great with custom stickers, and this is an excellent way to get nice balanced new stickers- Great idea! I've hearted it for future reference, I'll probably end up coming back later to make a few stickers to use. You may want to think about making a second studio, one for the primary colors (Red, Green, and Blue), and a second for the secondary colors (Purple, Cyan, and Yellow). It would make it a littler easier making new combinations, as you're adding two colors at once in a secondary set, and would also make it possible to mix two colors side by side. It would also give your yellow somewhere to go. Very good idea though, very original. I checked this one out this morning. Awesome tool!! I really like the ability to create nice gradients. However, it is a bit awkward and lacks a bit of self help to easily understand what is going on. I didn't have a problem mind you, I am just commenting for folks in general. I think if you took a look at Lite_Sleeper's color creator level, you might get a few ideas on how to make it a bit more user friendly as well as how he did his value changing. Not saying you should copy mind you, but I am sure if you sent him a note he would love to see your's and possibly share some ideas with you. I love the automated photo booth to take the pic and it is an awesome tool. Thanks so much for doing this!! I gave it 4 stars and hearted it. I knocked off one for ease of use, but again.. such an awesome tool that I am definitely revisiting! Thanks for checking out my level! | 2009-07-30 18:46:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
thanks for all your input! I have made a couple of changes: http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/emote/newfeatures.jpg :star:The yellow input is now White, to make it easier to lighten the brightness of a color with out having to mess with 3 differant switches. :star:Also I have added some prompts & cut-scenes to make it a little more user-friendly. :star:I have chosen to leave the mechenanics exposed. In-fact, I plan on adding connecting lines to illistrate how the switches and logic are interacting. I will continue to update in accordance with your posts. this is just the first couple of changes that I could do right away. Thanks again! allready I feel you have helped make my utility noticably better. P.S. could some one let me know how to post images side-by-side rather than stacked top-to-bottom? Maybe clue me in to a good info page on that. Thanks in advance! | 2009-07-31 09:38:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
5*s and hearted. This is a brilliant tool you've made here! My only critisism is that the gradients only work widthways along the sticker. It would be nice to set it to work either way. Would it be possible to mount the screen on a wobble bolt and twist the canvas, and take a smaller picture? This could add an extra feature without much fuss. I think. Regardless very nice tool, I'm sure I'll be coming back to it often. thanks for sharing this little gem | 2009-07-31 18:52:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
That's a killer idea! I'm not sure if I'll wrangle it with wobble bolt (say that 5 times quick). I may just make a duplicate sideways machine out of view, and add a second photo-grab, for horizontal gradients. Thanks! that's a great notion! | 2009-08-01 06:14:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
That is a good idea! Awesome.. ...come to think of it, what about a diagonal? Might be handy in some cases.. | 2009-08-01 06:19:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
hmm, Diagional. or even a lever for rotation...hmm I'll definately have to play with that idea...I could mount the machine to a back-ground thin layer, and..hmm. let me think about that. not sure I think I've got a layer or to to spare... | 2009-08-01 15:14:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
I'm glad you like the idea, I was worried I as going to sound a little rude asking for new features on an already awesome tool | 2009-08-01 15:17:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
@ RTM223: not at all! the whole reason I posted this as F4F is to improove it and get input from creative souls like you who think of things that wouldn't have occured to me otherwise! thank you. | 2009-08-01 15:32:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
I'm glad you like the idea, I was worried I as going to sound a little rude asking for new features on an already awesome tool Agreed... @swanbrown: ..and please realize it's that way of any suggestions here when speaking of extra additions. We tend to toss quite a bit out, but it is still your level afterall. Thanks so much for considering them!! If you can't include them all, not a biggie as it is still an awesome tool. | 2009-08-01 16:06:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
I'm really surprised that this doesn't have like 1000 hearts right now! Best tool by far! I've already used it in levels I'm working on. I'll also have to check back for the little tweaks you've made and mess with more gradients! | 2009-08-01 17:50:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |
i actually got around to using this the other day, and ive already made use of some of the stickers in the level i'm working on. (i will credit) it would be really cool to have another machine with four corner gradients. for the sideways gradients... couldnt you just rotate the sticker after youve made it? | 2009-08-01 22:03:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |
for the sideways gradients... couldnt you just rotate the sticker after youve made it? Yes you can, and indeed that's what I did. It was fine for my purposes but remember that the resolution on LBP stickers is very low, the alternate gradient, along the length of the sticker, would give a far smoother gradiant for some applications. It really just depends what you are trying to sticker in the end | 2009-08-02 00:34:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Stick with rtm, swan. He's the freaking switch-genius around here. I'm still monkeying with his emit-demit tools, trying to come up with some gameplay to suit them. I've seen a few Color Maker levels, but this is the first gradient. As I love gaining access to new Legos for the overall toybox, I can tell you right now I'm gonna end up hearting this, just to keep using it. | 2009-08-02 01:40:00 Author: coyote_blue Posts: 422 |
I want to be very clear: THERE IS NO NEED TO GIVE ME CREDIT FOR SOMTHING YOU PRODUCE using this tool. The whole reason I made this in the first place was to save time and inconveniance. Using precious space in your description or level to credit me is inconveniant. After all, I didn't give credit to MM for the tools I used to make it. Now, don't get me wrong, feel free to show it to your friends and spread the love. I'm Just tickled-pink to hear that it's being used! P.S. I'd love to hear about the levels it is used on, so I can go have a look-see. ~swan | 2009-08-02 01:51:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
It really just depends what you are trying to sticker in the end you mean like the donkey in the gardens? | 2009-08-02 01:58:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |

Even more pretty? I will check this out once more. I have depended on this useful tool a couple of times now and any improvement is really appreciated!! If you have any more of those bright ideas to make it easier on us creators, keep em coming!! | 2009-08-06 12:32:00 Author: Zwollie Posts: 2173 |
http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/emote/newfeatures.jpg You...are....gonna Love this new feature! I do! The Wash board you asked for a four corner gradient...BAH! let's do eight! I call it the wash-board and it's a whole new gradient editor located just above the proofing boards. It uses eight independently adjusted color sources. Each one has two settings, (hue and brightness). There is also a master brightness. It's a little funny to work with at first, but you can produce some nice effects with it. From water color washes to the spectrum, to those psychedelic swathes we all love so much! here are some tips :star: Try pasting a wash or gradient on one of the screens while you edit. you can come up with some really nice fills. :star: If you leave the settings for half of a swath (top or bottom) and only change the other side, they will match up if you flip the image, so you can Daisy-chain just about as many grads as you want. :star: If you set all the lights on the grad-ease gradient maker to full (including white), and place a sticker on the screen, you can amplify your sticker. enjoy! omg seriously!? i'm glad this is already in my toolbox edit: now i have a pod that looks like oily metal or beetle shell, very slick and all thanks to you. nice video too. i hadnt thought of leaving corners dark yet o.O | 2009-08-07 04:25:00 Author: Deftmute Posts: 730 |
Great tool man. Actually I don't plan to use color stickers on my levels because I don't like how they work, since they destroy the depth of the textures of the base material. Anyway, yours is a really wonderful tool, with a lot of geniality in it. And I tried only 1.1 version, so I'll try this update later on. | 2009-08-07 08:23:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
Thanks! I'm Glad it is useful to you. while editing the video, I realized I needed some more lighting, specifically on the photo triggers. So I got that done. Some people have mentioned that they will be using it for sky transitions. That got me thinking about seeing if I can make a cloud generate option. not sure what I'll do next...I have some ideas; ~ a camera zone where the player stands behind a thin layer to transfer pictures from the photo-booth section to "my pictures" ~ a dedicated brightness screen for quick work with dark pics. If any one has any ideas for additions, features, or what-ever, let me know, I've got plenty of thermo left. Let me know what you think! P.S. Feel free to upload pictures of you and your cool gradients. I'd love to see them, and it's good PR for the level. | 2009-08-08 10:37:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
The only studio I've used up till now is a photo studio to make nice avatars of my current sackboy. I will definately be using this one for my future level projects! You can only do so much with the gradient stickers that comes with the game. + Awesome idea and easy-to-use tools to make gradients. - I can't think of any except the fact that the stickers are somewhat grainy, which you can't do anything about :/ I'm sorry if I couldn't give you the same kind of detailed critiques as you gave me on my Helicopter Game level. | 2009-08-19 16:51:00 Author: Cykelpumpen Posts: 62 |
wow all i can say is thank you i needed something like this i couldn't get the shade of blue that i wanted right and know i got it thanks is there any way you could make it darker in the left and right sides without changing the color? my only real question is why you didn't use blue red and yellow which are the 3 primary colors and can be used to make every thing else? | 2009-08-19 21:55:00 Author: mat1629 Posts: 55 |
Oh wow. This is amazing. I had no idea you could get this creative with LBP. I love the camera button. I would have never thought of that. Well, tbh I would have never thought that you could make gradients with lights either. The only thing I can think of to improve the set up you have now is to add a reset all switches button. 5 stars and hearted. | 2009-08-20 02:27:00 Author: Professor Posts: 9 |
my only real question is why you didn't use blue red and yellow which are the 3 primary colors and can be used to make every thing else? Because Red Green and Blue are the primary colours of light. And this contraption mixes light. clever, eh? | 2009-08-20 19:27:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
Very clever indeed! Way to use science for art's sake. I'm so checking this out tonight! | 2009-08-20 19:41:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
@mat1629 actually, I had the colors semi-wrong at first. origionally I was using a yellow light instead of white. mother misty was kind enough to fine-tune my thinking on this. much of the cleverness in this tool belongs to those helping along with it. Rtm223 here came up with the great idea of vertical & horizontal stickers, for example. I look forward to hearing any more ideas you fine souls have (so I can use them and claim credit for my-self BWWWAA HAHAHA!) | 2009-08-20 20:50:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
I did check it out in game and it's very cool. Not too complicated to figure out how to manipulate it either which is a huge plus. I can think of many uses for this and It's actually given me an idea for how to do this using materials too. Thanks again for making a great tool that is creator friendly | 2009-08-21 09:09:00 Author: Morgana25 Posts: 5983 |
So, what do you think? is it ready to be made copyable, and spread all over the place? I would like it to be available to as many creators as possible. Not just an elite few. I guess I'll need a group to to copy and republish as re-distributors | 2009-08-21 10:52:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
At first I had no idea what to do, but then I got it! This is SUCH a great tool! WOW! I'll definitely be coming back to use this when I need a custom color. I couldn't find anything that didn't work right - so good job! I believe it's ready to be made copyable - I'd love to have this tool on my moon because I'd use it all the time. Dude, I love you. Well, not really. But, I do love your level. I used this to make the icon for my Wipeout series. This is a really great tool that is definitely worth checking out. However, my only criticism would be to improve the aesthetics, but then again, it isn't a real level. :star::star::star::star: + A heart If you're still doing F4F, I would appreciate some feedback for my newly released Wipeout series based on the popular television game show. What I asked Volunteers to do: 1- Help me "star up" a locked version, so it would hit cool levels with a sturdy 5 star base. 2- When it hit page one, they copyed, and publishef it in copyable form. Many Gadders Helped with this and now there are at least 5 pages of clones scattered around! Also, There is a Stripped-down version for people with out expansion packs! | 2009-08-30 20:31:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
I appreciate that you are trying to take advantage of publishing techniques, and I do believe that the level is super helpful, but I don't think this a page one type level. Most of the people who play the Cool Pages levels don't in fact make levels themselves, and will not see the point of being able to make gradients. That's just my opinion. You can republish it all you want, and it may make it to the front of Cool Pages, but I can see people rating it 1-star because they don't understand what it's for. That's just my 2 cents. I'm not trying to be rude, or a jerk (in fact, I think I gave this level 4/5 stars when you were working on it), I just wanted to offer my opinion. Take it or leave it . | 2009-08-30 20:47:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
hmm. I think that' a good point...page1 might not be the best place to hit my target audience. And you are definately right, it's NOT a 5 star level. It's logic is showing all over the place, and dosen't look like fun at all. your 2 cents are greatly appriciated. | 2009-08-30 20:56:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Heya! Yes, happy to help with... whatever plan you decide to pursue... I'll try and squeeze having a look at it in today at some stage and then see if it's, ethically, something I can put my vote to ; ) (jk!) | 2009-08-30 22:48:00 Author: BabyDoll1970 Posts: 1567 |
HEY! Looks good! Happy to help : ) | 2009-08-31 22:44:00 Author: BabyDoll1970 Posts: 1567 |
I'll help out if you need it. This is really great, especially for those with no PSEye. | 2009-08-31 22:50:00 Author: BassDeluxe Posts: 984 |
I'm not entirely convinced why you want to make it copyable... I mean yeah there is a small amount of mileage in changing the material to be a different texture and using the gradient tool, but TBH it's just gonna be ripped constantly by everyone. If you want help with a launch then I'll help, I just wanna say I think it's a bad idea. On a more positive note, I've been messing around with my own custom textures - using various materials, adding lights, photographing them, taking them to your tool, stickering my photos on the gradient tool then adding gradients to my textures. Having an absolute blast with it | 2009-08-31 22:50:00 Author: rtm223 Posts: 6497 |
He wants people to rip it. It'll help it spread faster. Plus, if you had to go to the level all the time to use it, it'd be a real pain. It's just better this way imo. | 2009-08-31 22:52:00 Author: BassDeluxe Posts: 984 |
That's right. I want it to be ripped. There are a couple advantages that I see with that. firstly, it gets wide distribution that way, and I don't really care about credit; let the rippers fight amongst them-selves about that. lol. Second, I'm hoping that people will copy it, use it, and then customize it to their own purposes, then republish their variants. Third, with enough saturation, MM might get inspired to make a dedicated gradient tool that makes this crude measure obsolete. | 2009-09-02 03:52:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
This looks incredible, please add me if you have the time | 2009-09-02 04:44:00 Author: Aurongel Posts: 221 |
Okay. I've sent begun sending out keys and as soon as it's ready, I'll launch! P.S. Don't forget to grab the outer ring once you have entered the solution. | 2009-09-08 11:58:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Ok, i see where ur going with this... nice build up to an awesome and very useful concept. But why not integrate ur name into the level somehow and still make it copyable??? That way the quick- copy and republish players will not be able to take the credit. And dont just add a sticker of ur name, but make it out of a material... that way making it more difficult for people to remove ur name and publish it as there own! Just a thought, to get u more praise for this awesome creation! Ps. I had worked out the puzzle before anyway! | 2009-09-08 13:16:00 Author: ladylyn1 Posts: 836 |
I'd be glad to help out here. Looks like an awesome tool, and a very generous gesture toward the community at large. Kudos to you! | 2009-09-08 13:17:00 Author: v0rtex Posts: 1878 |
Hmm, it's tempting to put my name in somewhere, but I want to keep the memory used as low as possible, since it will have to exist with-in the user's profile. I've allready used more than I really wanted to make it look pretty. Thanks for the good suggestion, though. P.S. I will continue to send the key to those who want to help untill I actually unlock it and start the push up the hill. | 2009-09-08 15:26:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
When first publishing, u should start a brand new copy... dont just unlock the level, it will not be able to get onto the cool pages if u do that! Republish from fresh and maybe keep it locked for only 1 day (while all ur friends play it! and build up the 5 star rating!) before unlocking it to the world of bomb survivals and h4h. This way im sure it will get onto the cool pages and hopefully lots of people will hear about it. | 2009-09-08 15:45:00 Author: ladylyn1 Posts: 836 |
Good! thanks for the good advice! I will delete, and re-seed now, and in 24 houres, I will un-lock and start the push. (12:00) gmt | 2009-09-08 16:03:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Can't wait til this is copyable... I'll definitely be using it. I'd also love to help you with the 5-star rating, but not sure when I can get around to it | 2009-09-08 18:26:00 Author: Powershifter Posts: 668 |
I'm looking forward to making it copyable. I've sent you the solution on PSN (one thing I haven't really talked about is once people start to copy and re-publish it, I can safely take it off my online moon and use that slot for somthing else. lol) | 2009-09-08 20:20:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Okay, I've started the Launch process. For Advertisement reasons, I've changed the name from "Gradient Studio Utility", to -sigh- "STICKER MAKER!!!" (I feel dirty) | 2009-09-09 17:12:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |

http://i612.photobucket.com/albums/tt210/swanbrown/emote/CrazedMeerkats.jpg BWWAAAA HAHAHA! okay, I'm at page 5 of cool levels now, so in a couple of days, when it's hit it's roll, I'l make it copyable, and and we will unleash it upon Little Big Planet like a troup of peanut-crazed meerkats! Thanks for all your help in developing, and distributing this tool. This is really a fabulous community! | 2009-09-10 02:44:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Send me the solution man! | 2009-09-11 11:50:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
I've sent you the solution on the LBP server, but you don't really need it. We are about to enter the final phaze of the plan. in about 3 hours (12:00 GMT) I'm going to Make boath copys of it Copyable, although I sugesst you change your hearts over to the newer one. I'll eventually delete at the older one. BTW it currently lives on page 3 of cool levels. it may move to page 2. | 2009-09-11 12:54:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |
Oh my god, I realize, this is not exactly a new tool or thread, but I'm blown away. My creativity was like 3 steps behind... What? Blue wood is best for sticker-photos? I only recently changed from rubber to dissolve, cause dissolve doesn't show this reflect-texture but shows instead a matt surface that imho looked the most subtle with stickers. I thought that was rather clever...Guess I gonna check out blue wood and do some homework to catch up with you guys! | 2010-06-12 19:10:00 Author: Xario Posts: 238 |
Thanks, Xario! holy crap! That's great! Thanks for showing it to me... seems to work a lot better than mine. Mine just uses a perspective with 3-d forground material, so it's not an exact squash. lots of fore-shortening. I'll definately have to try that out! | 2010-06-17 20:30:00 Author: swanbrown Posts: 898 |

Now this looks verry useful, this will help improve on the look of one of my level's.Nice job, n cheers for making it copyable | 2010-07-23 21:15:00 Author: Unknown User |
An extremely useful tool. :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 I made this thingy. | 2010-07-28 14:37:00 Author: Unknown User |
This seems like a very useful tool for making unique stickers and I think the way you have created all these tools to create gradients and logos is ingenious and I will certainly be using it in a few of my levels. Plus I got a bunch of nice stickers to try out so all in all a good level :star::star::star::star: I woul give more of a review but seeing as it is more of a tool and not an actual level then I can't really think of anything more to say. | 2010-07-29 00:51:00 Author: cthulhu82 Posts: 211 |
Thanks for the feedback of "The Hero Chronicles LV5 Glacier Volcano". That was an very useful level for the gradient stickers. I just copied the level so I can make my own gradient stickers. Thanks for showing me this great level too. | 2010-07-29 02:50:00 Author: JustinArt Posts: 1314 |
