does anyone use this? I have a few questions, but if you do have it what's your steam ID, and what games do you have? Add Kmills11!

Oh I have it, I just don't like the friends feature. What I like however is that even with my meager internet connection, it's easy to get back all your games if you do a wipe of your computer. I use steam almost exclusively for Source based games, such as Team fortress 2, Zeno clash, portal and mods derivative. A recent mod I tried for hl2ep1 was "Research and development." A puzzler set in the HL2 universe featuring pretty good atmosphere, if a bit glitchy.

I like it's convenience that I can message my friends but it wants to ruin my games by handling them. This game is Unavailable. aka This game set you back $50 and you can never play it again.

if you buy off the steam powered store does it just download right to your computer or does it send you a tangible copy of the game

You get it added to your games list where it then downloads into the steam folder. So you basically it's like itunes for games, except you can redownload your games and get free updates. On the flipside, you need to be connected to the internet when you want to play some of your games because offline mode is a bunch of crap. The only thing I buy off steam is valve games anyway.

I have steam and use it solely for TF2 for a long time after i completed the half lifes. I still rarely go on TF2 because it's still good

why do they need my street address and phone number they just that dang nosy Probably for Competitions, billing and information on your Account. Maybe verification that you live in a certain spot and aren't lying for free offers. I don't really care. My chihuahua will eat them if they come to my door.
