So we're to be referred to as 'Happy Gadders' from now on our we - at least that's the term used in the LBP manual to describe anyone playing online in LBP. What do you guys think of that? Bit odd, or is it just me? ... Doesn't seem to fit with the world. It's like they felt they had to make up a new term but couldn't call us Sackboys and Sackgirls or any such derivation.

I don't think it is going to affect my life that badly. I don't really mind what they put. Its not going to be something that lots of people are going to care about.

It's not the final version of the manual, it could change. I doubt it though. Btw nice additions to the site custom buttoms and all the works.

"Happy Gadders" will just be a term for the manual I suppose, or when the game's explaining something to you. I don't see anyone calling each other this... Everyone will use "players" or "users". They probably put that in there as the game's also aimed towards a younger audience.

In the game the basic point is to go restlessly from one place to another so we are happy while gadding I guess well there you go

Interesting responses ... I'm still not sure but I do like to gad about the place - so maybe it'll improve with time ... Pretty sure I'll never refer to another user as a Gadder though. Don't like getting slapped upside my head.

Don't like getting slapped upside my head. Get used to getting slapped. I guarantee that some people are gonna abuse the slap function to no end. As for the name... it doesn't bother me at all. Maybe it's just me but, I'd rather be called a Happy Gadder than anyones 'sack'. Just because Mm chose to refer to players as Happy Gadders, doesn't mean you have to too. I'm still gonna refer to other people online as ... well... other people online.
