humanitys fall part1: the fatal mistake...david1209
humanitys fall is going to be a three part series but i dont want to give too much away so heres the basic overview. you are sent into an old military base to investigate what the apparant "movement" was that satellites have been detecting in the facility. however you quickly discover that the movement was merely old robots but there is something else in that base... something that will change humanitys fate... unfortunately though the thermoneter overheated so i couldnt include a boss or a chase scene like the scull dozer so the levels very short however there are going to be 2 more parts so thats something to look forward too p.s does anyone know how to upload screenshots i've got a ton and i dont know how too use them.
all
this level uses anumber of logic boxes to work so there are few glitches however if you find any please leave a comment on the forums or the level. i have also put a decent amount of detail into the level ( which took its toll on the thermoneter ) but again if you think i can improve comment on where. the new player tracker came in very usefull in this level and is used to work my hunter1 prototype boss which can be found as a secret prize. feel free too post a comment asking too play your levels as iiii will happily play it p.s there are now SCREENSHOTS IN HYBRID_LEADERS COMMENT so please take a look to see what you can expect in the level.

1. Sorry for taking so long
2. You have improved much since your project mercury

First of all it's a shame that not much people have played this level cause it's really good & fun to play, especially the atmosphere in the beginning is superb.

The intro scene is very cool. I was like OH NOEZ!!!!I liked how you showed the end of the lv right at the beginning

The looks of the factory are very nice and I liked the platforming. All in all this level is superb but I had one that I didn't like. The thing that you set free should be better lookint.

:star::star::star::star::star:, a heart <3 and brilliant.

Hello David1209! I will be reviewing your level today!

Gameplay: It was great! I loved the obstacles. They were VERY unique. I liked the robots. I really have no complaints on this. Loved the fights, obstacles, etc. etc. Some of them might have been a liuttle bit too hard for beginners, but that's a minor flaw. Very minor. Also, you could've added in a little bit mor little robots, but again, a minor flaw.
I loved how the beginning ended up to be the end. Very original and well-done! I also like how you climbed through the vents. Awesome!

Decoration/looks/presentation: Oh my god, what to say! I'm speechless on this, in a good way! You represented the machine/robotic theme amazingly well! I loved the use of lights. I adored how the materials were placed and how they differed. There aren't many materials for metal/robotic themes but you chose them wisely and placed them wisely. Loved the decoration lights, EVERYTHING about it! No complaints on this section! Loved it all!

Music/sound: Again, no complaints. Loved how you made the music. It fit the theme very well. Good job.

Creativity/Idea: I admire your creativity. You're very original. I have not seen anything like this before. Awesome idea.

Emotion: Not very much emotion. Sackboy doesnt really show his feelings. However, nice job on the control room. I liked how you made Sackboy say "Who would do this?!". Very good, opens up Sackboy's personality toward bad things.

Boss fights, if any: I liked the Hunter boss. However, he was extremely easy to beat, considering i could just stay in the corner of the room the entire time and not get hurt, and just shoot him till he's dead. I didn't die once. I think you should make him shoot plasma balls out the side of his arms so that he can kill you when you're huddled in the corner of the room. Other than that, very nice boss design. Good job.

Overall: I loved the level! Like I said, you could've added in more little bots, and improved on the boss, but it was a great level. KEEP GOING WITH THE SERIES!!

:star::star::star::star:

I rated this level 4 stars, tagged it "Machines", and hearted you and your level. Have a great time in LBP and good luck with your levels! ^_^

F4F: My level, SSA: Sack Spy Association: 5 part trilogy. It should be on the level forums somewhere.

First off, very well made level! I loved the scenery, you created the environment very well. That being said, here are a few things I noticed in the level-

It would have been nice if the spawn for the platforms across the saw area were started sooner, so that you don't end up confused/waiting for the platforms to arrive. Otherwise that part was done very well.

In the part where you grab the three colored boxes, I had a little trouble getting them into their slots. A shape other than a square would probably be a little more user friendly in this part.

The hunter was amazingly designed! However, as has been mentioned, the corner problem does need fixing. Not only with the plasma balls, but the corners make the laser of the robot completely useless. I really enjoyed that part though, well done!

The voice camera could use repositioning when you enter the monster's room, as it didn't really show what I was meant to be examining. I had to look around the room a bit before I triggered the next part.

The secret area was well hidden, very clever. I also liked that you had to play the level twice to get the prize in that area.

The first time I played I must have broken something, because instead of the final cutscene working, I had to climb on the invisible box and just over into the ending scoreboard. The switch must be missable somewhere that starts that.

Very very well done though! A well deserved :star::star::star::star::star: and an Ingenious.

My F4F level: Revenge Explored Part 1: The Deception.

Thought this level was great - absolutely loved the look of it - very spooky. It reminded me a little of the Metal Gear Solid Levels. I also liked the story behind the level and the music you used - very fitting. I gave the level :star::star::star::star::star: because I liked it so much.

I only have a couple of suggestions for improving it, and these are very minor...

1) The robot that kills you, and that you set free is a little simple looking compared to the detail in the rest of the level, a bit of metal plating and lights would soon spruce it up, even though you are going to rebuild it in your next level.

2) I did feel that the ending was slightly abrupt, the last leg of the level fizzled slightly after such a good build up. Perhaps the robot's entrance could be more dramatic? Coupled with a sound and lighting change this would really end the level on a good note.

I was very impressed though, well done!

good level for design alone to be honest.

I dont see anything new and that blockbuster dialogue is always cringe worthy lol but, i liked it. That robot was actually spooky, i kept thinking it was behind me!

I liked how it began where it ends.

Many great secrets about, i liked that.

I'll be looking forward to other parts and will give you a better review when its all done.
