Manufactured Madness by mrsupercomputer

Archive: 18 posts

For me this level has probably been the best industrial/mechanical/rugged adventure I've ever experienced in LBP. Many construction robots of a dark, massive factory have malfunctioned, giving them hostile behavior. In short, they're mangling and destroying all the other useful bots! You mission is to somehow get the good robots out of the factory while destroying infected ones along the way.

This level really got me immersed. It's chock full of detail, particle effects, great animation, fascinating mechanics, and other eye-catching tidbits. Not to mention the epic feel to the chain of events! The level turned out to be really satisfying. I mean who doesn't want to rid a huge factory of menacing, hostile, flame-throwing, metal-chucking robots?

Like any of mrsupercomputer's levels, I will easily recommend this to anyone! Here's a playthrough video:

Nice, I'll have a look at this now.

EDIT: Was awesome, only bad part was when it glitched on the winch part at the end but it slill allowed me to continue through the level.

:star::star::star::star::star: + heart.

You should probably post on his level showcase as he would love to see your comments. Usually this section is used for recommendations outside the LBPC community, but totally understand you wanting to recommend as this one is crazy good! What madness is this!?! Oh.. sorry CCubbage. I didn't see you standing there. My apoligies on bumping into you and hope the pizza stain comes out ok.

I just figured his name was Cray or a super computer that liked to be called Mr.

It's ok.... didn't like that shirt anyway (my wife made me wear it).

But yes, I agree - no mere human could build such a level. Suggesting he's human would be like saying Jaeyden WASN'T the codename for an FBI experiment.

Now this is something on wich I can fully agree. Mrsupercomputer could easily be my favorite creator, if I was to pick one.
I mean, it was after laying his Zpehyr's Valley that I decided to start making my own level. It was inspiring to say the least!
And I also really reccomendate this level, Manufacturated Madness. Maybe it doesn't have the ind of visuals that I enjoy (dark +mechanical things) but the gameplay serves as a good example of the word "outstanding"

Everybody go play it -or replay it- naow!

Whew.. good... hopefully she didn't buy you any more like that. If so, I have a few more bites of pizza.

!?! I didn't think you were supposted to use the codename! I hope no one sees !!!

when i want to show off lbp to friends, i play mrsupercomputer levels.

unfortunately most of my friends are absolutely hopeless* when it comes to playing video games, so they don't get very far most of the time.

*like completely.... you would laugh.
