i don't know him personally, though i loathe him as a spammer. I told him to stop spamming and he replied "NO ONE WILL PLAY YOUR LEVELS IF THEY DONT KNOW THEY'RE THERE... FACT"... i swear, the caps lock on his keyboard must be stuck.... or he runs around shouting at everyone IRL.

Yeah I remember that and of course it was a downright lie. It seems like every level I play he's been spamming and I'm sick of seeing it. He's a real pain in the A** and should be banned.

What I think is that MM has to change quite everything on the rating system.
All this s**t wouldn't have happened if users had to earn the right to rate.
If people could have the right to rate or comment only if they have 400 hearts as a creator and a rate of at least 4 on a level, everything would have been clearer and righteous.

I haven't uploaded a level in ages so I seem to be avoiding a lot of these new 'grass moles'.

Really the whole PSN thing with reporting players seems a bit dire, they don't have a clear email to go to (and one time it was down so I couldn't report people!).

Best thing to do is upload all the level pictures yourself (8 pics I think it was) then depending on how popular you get with that level you may just be able to remove his spam.

This numpty has been all over my levels like a rash leaving his annoying repetitive comment. I have not responded to him in any way.

Someone msg'd me and said they griefed the pics, so they got taken down. I wasn't sure how to do it without griefing my own level and getting them moderated.

He's been spamming for a while now...what is he trying to prove...he never gives out his so called 'rewards', and I remember when he had his own little contests where he changed the deadline date on every post... and his levels are the epitome of thrown together! I've seen him quite a bit and thankfully haven't had any dealings with him other than his spam on one of my levels. He seems to be a real issue.

I saw him in a horribly ugly battle with another creator that I also didn't think much of and was disgusted at the filth they were tossing back and forth on each others levels. I so much wanted to tell them both that kids play these games, but I think once folks like this are so self absorbed there is no talking with them rationally via the internet. Their shield is their monitor or in this case, their tv set. They are invincible in their own minds and they don't care nor have any respect for anyone as well as any self respect. This kid is really bad news and not sure if it is teenage angst or if he is actually older and suffering from mental imbalance from too many steroids.

Sorry you've had to experience this, NinjaMcWz.

I've used the Good Grief function 4 times in nine months of LBP - 3 of which were against this russlesmuscles character.

His relentless spamming is a real disgrace, as are his abusive images and comments. I was under the impression that he had been banned once, but apparently not (I do know he has at least one other account - woodeye42 or something similar).

I lost the battle with spam a while ago, but for this user I make the exception.

He is rude, crass, vulgar, insulting, and his own creations are dire to the point of self-irony. In fact, the very opposite of what LBP is all about.

I don't hate him because I don't know him, but I would encourage anyone who's had offensive remarks or images to report him to the address Kiminski supplied above.

I'm no prude, and I certainly never want to stop people having fun. But some of his questionable actions are NOT clever and should not be tolerated, whether you're 7 or 70.

I've probably said too much, so I'll finish.

And I also know other people in the community have done the same thing because I've randomly checked his levels and people have uploaded alot of nasty pictures. I'm positive its possible to ban PS3's. I remember a topic on Gamefaqs not too long ago about a guy who got a cheap PS3 off Ebay but it was banned from the PSN and he has to pay fines or something to unban it.

Also i remember seeing this comment by RM on his newest level saying he doesn't care about hearts or star ratings, all he cares about all plays. WTF?

If you were selling something you would get people to buy your product not just look at it!!

PS I think his newest level has hit the 1 week cool level stick limit.

Ever heard of DLC? Perhaps he brought a downloadable sticker pack last week. Perhaps you didn't buy anything. If that were the case, then he's more valued customer to MM than you are. Even if it's a single penny of his money in their pocket, that's still capital gain. What capital gain results from banning players? MM are not your friend, law enforcer or mediator...they are a business who make money. If russellsmuscles' misdemeanours ever caused them a notable financial loss then perhaps they might take action, but I don't see anyone around here boycotting LBP because russellsmuscles has ruined the game for them. And supposing they do ban him. What then? He get's another account, and hey...he's back!

Unfortunately, this is what happens when there is no law.... it's become extremely common in LBP to advertise your levels on other people's level comments. This guy has simply taken it to an extreme. And it's common to upload pictures to other people's levels, he has just taken THIS to an extreme.

It's definately frustrating. I honestly don't know when it became "OK" to paint graffiti on someone elses house.....

I read a comment on his so called 'All star' level yesterday and it went a little something like this;

"I dont care about hearts or ratings, all i want you to do is press restart and that play count just goes ....up!'

To me, that seems like a very strange thing to thrive off. It seems he cares about reputation over respect, and were only increasing the mass of his oversized head here.

I've seen him quite a bit and thankfully haven't had any dealings with him other than his spam on one of my levels. He seems to be a real issue.

I saw him in a horribly ugly battle with another creator that I also didn't think much of and was disgusted at the filth they were tossing back and forth on each others levels. I so much wanted to tell them both that kids play these games, but I think once folks like this are so self absorbed there is no talking with them rationally via the internet. Their shield is their monitor or in this case, their tv set. They are invincible in their own minds and they don't care nor have any respect for anyone as well as any self respect. This kid is really bad news and not sure if it is teenage angst or if he is actually older and suffering from mental imbalance from too many steroids.
