Last night there was a bug on my toothbrush..
Archive: 66 posts
Last night when going to bed, i regret brushing my teeth. When a grabbed the tooth brush i saw there was a bug on it.. A forky tail thing... I threw my toothbrush behind me and screamed, i got the shock of my life, very unpleasent. When i relocated then bug, i had a book and i put the book over it and jamp on it about 3 times, i standed on it for a few seconds. I lifted up the book and it was still alive. I stabbed the end of the book in it, i got toilet roll and picked it up (it was still alive) and flushed it down the toilet. ITS NOT FUNNY. So... who else has a experience like this? | 2009-07-26 11:35:00 Author: Adam9001 Posts: 744 |
Yeah, it's not very nice when bugs are right near you on stuff you're using. I think it was yesterday when I had a pretty big spider on my cap and a few weeks ago in art class there was a bug that I think was a wasp on my head. I felt it so I scratched my head where the bug was. I was so lucky it didn't sting me... | 2009-07-26 11:39:00 Author: lk9988 Posts: 1077 |
Haaaaaaaaaaaaahaharrrr that's funny as shhh. I probably would've jumped and screamed like a woman. I can't stand spiders or bees. Seriously. Spiders are the most creepy crawling critter. And I can't take bumblebees or bees flying around my head. | 2009-07-26 11:42:00 Author: BasketSnake Posts: 2391 |

You don't like spiders? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3657/3512796173_687217394e_b.jpg Saw that one in the room I was sleeping in while working in Australia. It was rather small compared to others spiders around there. And since you don't like bugs either... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3458/3183812583_a0057bc4e8_o.jpg They are nice though. | 2009-07-26 13:39:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |

I'm usually creeped by spiders, but that one was fine. I guess it's when i see them in real life, THEY ARE VERY SCARY. THEY COULD PWN ME. | 2009-07-26 14:09:00 Author: MarkoWolfy Posts: 445 |

What did you do with the spider o_O How'd you get it out? And the spiders i normaly see are smaller then a bottle cap, not huge turantulas O_O | 2009-07-26 14:33:00 Author: Adam9001 Posts: 744 |
I didn't get it out I just left it there and went to bed. I used to be afraid of spiders, but now that if seen them in Australia I'm not too bothered by them anymore. It helps that aren't many large spiders in Europe. That spider (a huntsman, I believe) up there isn't really dangerous and was maybe 8cm or 9cm large, which is about 2/3 of a DVD. It looks a bit larger on the photo. | 2009-07-26 15:18:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
It's funny the topic of bugs would come up. Yesterday, I had a bug near my shoulder which I hadn't noticed. My friend saw it, and instead of telling me about it, he simply punched it without warning. Not only did the punch hit so that the bug was between his knuckles and thus completely unharmed, the punch left a bruise. I then brushed off the bug and it flew away. | 2009-07-26 15:40:00 Author: BSprague Posts: 2325 |
I think I would throw out my toothbrush I was playing LBP about a week ago, when a big daddy-long leg crawled across my screen. Now, they're not too scary, but they're big and annoying - but I was fine with that. Except that about two minutes later, I look down next to me on the couch, and there's the same spider, sitting right next to me, right by my leg. I probably yelped a bit and hopped off the couch, and it scuttled away For me it totally depends on the situation. If I see a spider is settled in and has found a home in my house, while I'll get rid of it eventually, I don't go crazy about it. Once I even left a spider who had made a web on the other side of my room stay for over a week before I finally got rid of him. I think the worst are centipedes and junebugs. Those will always freak me out... | 2009-07-26 16:37:00 Author: hilightnotes Posts: 1230 |

I see a centipede pretty much every night. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scutigera_coleoptrata These ones. I think they're the most common. I have, like, a gazillion of them. In the summer I get some pretty big spiders, too, but I usually ignore them. | 2009-07-26 17:43:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |
I didn't get it out I just left it there and went to bed. You WENT TO BED!? O.O I would be lying there awake, all night, clutching my pillow, until day break and yelping at every medium sized shadow. Geez. | 2009-07-27 11:05:00 Author: BlackHairedGoon Posts: 160 |
Me and bugs don't really get along. Everyday I wake up to a new bug bite, and where I live, the bugs swarm in everytime I open a door. Thankfully, a little spray of rubbing alcohol solves that (you should try it on flies; it's pretty fun). A few nights ago, I found a jumping spider on my leg. Being the dork I am, I spring back from my chair and look around. I find the thing 5 feet away from where I first felt it. It then scuttled away. Oh, and they say cockroaches can survive nuclear explosions... pfffffft. I killed the dang thing with a few sprays of Clorox. How do ya explain that? | 2009-07-27 17:30:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
And whats a junebug? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phyllophaga_%28genus%29 Probably one of my least favorite bugs if I'm being honest. Overall, can't really say I mind insects or "bugs" of any kind really. That's not to say I don't get startled by the nasty looking ones time after time. | 2009-07-27 19:25:00 Author: supersickie Posts: 1366 |

It would only take day before I have another spider like that (or worse) in my room anyway, so I rather let them be and hope that they hide underneath my bed or behind a wardrobe. | 2009-07-27 20:46:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |

This. Couldn't have said it better myself. Do you have bed bugs? I also just let the bugs be. All the spiders keep the bugs. I don't think I've ever been bitten by a bug besides a wasp. Never been stung by a bug either. | 2009-07-28 04:00:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |

The camel spider isn't really that large. The perspective in that picture is just misleading. But that size doesn't matter if you are a funnel-web spider. Link (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sydney_funnel-web_spider#Venom).:O | 2009-07-28 21:27:00 Author: Syroc Posts: 3193 |
The thing about bugs that I hate most is the orifice penetration. Y'know? When a fly flies into your ear when your sleeping, or your nose, or, worst of all, when you're cycling and ZIP there it is, a lovely fly all up in your mouth, Wait, what'd you think I meant? | 2009-07-29 00:01:00 Author: dawesbr Posts: 3280 |

OH god that reminds me. When I was sleeping, a fricking earwig got into my ear. It was like a circus in there or something, because it was rumbling every 10 seconds, and my ears were bleeding >_< MY mom killed it and I want to a ENT Doctor. | 2009-07-29 07:44:00 Author: LittleBigIan Posts: 27 |
I saw a daddy longlegs and that thing creeped me out, despite it was harmless > Even a small spider freaked me out. I'm afraid it would crawl in my ear, like the last 2 times a bug crawled into my ear... | 2009-07-29 07:46:00 Author: LittleBigIan Posts: 27 |
And... You want to know who's affraid of spiders, or what? I mean, surely there's gotta by something you wanna discuss about the subject, right? Or were you just saying that just because you felt like saying it? (Either way is same for me.) | 2009-07-29 07:51:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
I like spiders. Without them my house would be full of bugs. Ugly stupid bugs with too many legs. Any more than 8 legs and it's a stupid life form. Besides centipedes. They're cute. | 2009-07-29 08:17:00 Author: qrtda235566 Posts: 3664 |

Centipedes were once awesome and majestic creatures battling giant stuff back in the past when everything was giant. Now they're just little things. It's a reminder that every thing great and mighty must fall. In Italy we have Tiger Mosquitos... http://www.comune.asolo.tv.it/opencms/export/sites/default/ProvTV/SanBiagiodiCallalta/PrimoPiano/Immagini/ZanzaraTigre.jpg they are very little but they're really aggressive, they don't fear daylight and attack in hordes. The bubbles they left on the skin are terrible since if you don't scratch them you can easily go mental...some people is allergic and have bubbles up to 20 cm of diameter. | 2009-07-31 20:15:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |
