That panel clearly depicts what happened to me when I was a noob. Crashed into water, crashed into watchtowers, crashed into telephone lines (gawd, those were embarassing), crashed into other planes, etc. They're very hard to control if you aren't accustomed to BF controls. But you get use to it. (Crashed into boats, crashed into trees, crashed into tanks, crashed into radar dishes, crashed into carrier decks, crashed into... bombers? err... yes)

I have a quick question, what control scheme do you use? And what camera angle? I always get shot down with good accuracy from an enemy pilot.

I have a quick question, what control scheme do you use? And what camera angle? I always get shot down with good accuracy from an enemy pilot. No idea what control scheme I use, it's the default, and I use the angle inside the cockpit, for several reasons. 1 ) Easier to shoot down an enemy target. 2 ) It circles enemy planes. However, when I'm trying to shake an enemy off my tail, I switch to the 3rd person angle, if you will, and try loops and twists and turns, and always look behind me to see if he's still after me. And also, when turning let go off the throttle, it gives you sharper turns.

I want this game so bad but can't afford it at the moment And that cartoon pretty much sums up any vehicle situation in all battlefield games, i have been played Bad Company alot lately and this happens all the time witt he helicopters and tanks. Another thing people do is sit infront of your tank and dont move otherwise you get a team kill and minus 15 points. The online community in Battlefield can be awful sometimes lol.

There are no team kills in this one, which is a blessing and a curse. The blessing is I don't kill my team mates the curse is I can't shoot those idiots that throw grenades at their own teams vehicles. I had to set the vertical axis to inverted for the planes. It just doesn't make sense to me to descend when I'm pulling the trigger back. I'm a bit bored of this now though. Probably because there are so few team players and only three maps. (I find Coral Sea annoying.)

I haven't played 1943 yet, but I'm a huge Battlefield fan. I've actually played 2142 a fair bit recently, but that doesn't really help your flying skills, since it's gunships are practically a different way to fly, period.
