Is anyone going to try out for the job at MM? You need ot be good at understanding sound... not music... From MM Our Audio Molecule is looking to bond with another atom to form some manner of kick-*** audio compound. If you aren?t totally inert, can spare a few electrons, and would like to work on innovative, award-winning game audio then this could be the reaction you?ve been waiting for. We?re looking for someone with a passion for creative work with sound, a love of games and a profound attention to detail. The successful candidate won?t necessarily have games industry experience, but they absolutely must be capable of demonstrating an understanding of interactive audio concepts and implementation strategies with their application. Requirements Highly creative and technical Computer literate, be capable of maintaining your studio hardware and software Experience of working with sound for the moving image Sound theory: knowledge of acoustics, human perception of sound, digital audio theory, synthesis techniques Sound practice: recording, editing, production and mastering techniques of sound (not music!) DAW and Editor trained/experienced Know the difference between ?sound design? and ?sound effects editing? Great organisational skills Attention to detail a must!
