Hello from my Little Big World!
Archive: 16 posts
Hi to all you fantastic people. Long time fan of Little Big Planet, new to the world of forums. I need serious help, I need you, your friends, your parents, even your pets if they play and create on LBP. I need help in order to make really good levels that people will enjoy and remember, and hopefully that's where you fit in. I need honest comments about my level designs and stories, rather than the usual "rubbish", "good" etc. I'd like to know what works and what doesn't, and so on. I also want my work to be showcased to a much larger audience and hopefully this will be achieved through this website. So please play my levels, there are currently four up there for the world to see. It's quicker to search via my name (odiumsolo) rather than level title, so go look now, that's right drop what your doing, forget about food, drink, forget about work, forget about school, homework even, talking to your girlfriend or boyfriend and look for me (odiumsolo) and my levels. I'm always looking for new friends to play on LBP so feel free to add me to your list, and let the good times roll. Hope to hear from you soon. Peace, love and fried cheese ![]() Odiumsolo | 2009-07-23 13:39:00 Author: odiumsolo ![]() Posts: 13 |
Hello there, and welcome to the forum ![]() If it's tips you need, head on over to the Help! section, where you'll find tonnes of advice and tutorials. If it's feedback you're after, check out our Level Showcase. We have a system called F4F (feedback for feedback). Members will play your levels and offer constructive feedback, and in return, you play one of theirs and do the same. Easy! Anything else, just ask! Welcome again, and have fun. | 2009-07-23 13:44:00 Author: MrsSpookyBuz ![]() Posts: 1492 |
Welcome Greetings and other inviting phrases! You have come to the right place for tips and help! I once tried to forget about food, drink, salty snacks and pizza... I just got really dizzy and handed my cat the controller. Funny thing though.. I don't have a cat. Anyway.. as MrsSpookyBuz says.. post your levels in the Level Showcase and let us take a peek and enable you to get proper feedback per level rather than cluttering up this fine upstanding, whole hearted LBPC welcome madness that I am sure is about to ensue!! ![]() <pointing rapidly> You.. you there!! Yes you! You have fun NOW!! ![]() | 2009-07-23 14:21:00 Author: jwwphotos ![]() Posts: 11383 |

Welcome! Great advice from the posters above me. Make threads in the showcase for your levels - best way to let us know that they exist. Check out the help and tutorial section for great tips and tricks for making your levels even better. I'd also add - play some of the levels from the great creators we have around here. Knowing what is possible that you haven't though of can spark new ways of doing things or ways of thinking about the tools available in LBP. Best of luck and yup, you'll have fun.... we all do ![]() | 2009-07-23 17:28:00 Author: Morgana25 ![]() Posts: 5983 |
Having fun is almost mandatory here... It isn't quite, because that would make it seem like an opressed view of the world, but trust me its rather hard not to ![]() seems like all the good advice has been taken... so heres something from the bottom of the bin (thats what i give for showing up late i guess ;p)... "never wear plaid and a duck on your head at the same time" ... i told you it was at the bottom of the bin, eh? ![]() welcome to the forums, enjoy your stay, and please cut down on the duck wearing ;p | 2009-07-23 21:42:00 Author: Burnvictim42 ![]() Posts: 3322 |

Welcome odiumsolo. One question...are peace, love, fried cheese and golden carrots themes and props in your levels? Could be interesting...I'm picturing a carrot covered in fried cheese, with a notch for a seat and a rocket on the back, speeding Sacky to an unknown destination in a town which is plagued by chaos, and filled with evil. Obviously, only a Sacky could save the day. Ahhh...how I love LBP. Some great advice above, so nothing left to say accept I hope you make some new friends and enjoy it here! ![]() See you around. Welcome!!!! Showcase your levels in the "Level Showcase" section of the fourm if you want to get more people interetsed in your levels. As mentioned we have a system callled feedback for feedback which is a great way to get good feedback on how to improve: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=7962.
