I was saving my all allowance for a whole year, i just could not wat to get my ps3. i was getting 20$ every other week for allowance and i finally had enough, so i picked up my PS3 on December 29, 2006. i remember that day like if it were yesterday.

I got crazy lucky =) The first month it came out I went to Futureshop with my brother to get a ds lite. When we were gonna buy it my brother saw some person have a ps3 in her hands and asked one of his friends if they had any in stock and they did. He was like... O_O and thats how we ogt one Also after he left to University like a week after he said i can have the Playstation 3

*sigh* I don't have it yet and i really don't care about having it right now, everything i need is on my Xbox 360. And no I'm not a fan boy I'm a jack of all trades. But nothing on the wii or ps3 have interested me quite yet. But i do want both systems around November for select games. And Littlebigplanet is the game that really sold be to get a ps3.

I saved and preordered mine. Got it the morning it came out when the shops opened. Didn't bother with the midnight release. Would rather sleep than sit in a line waiting to get one. I just walked in picked it up then went home and played it all day. I was like this :eek::eek: all day. LOL

I didn't save for the first one just bought it because I wanted one and ?400 for a 60gb with 3 games a blu ray moie and a hdmi cable seemed a good deal. Second one was also not saved for but was urgently needed to replace a YLOD machine so I got the 250gb uncharted 2 bundle for ?265. Later managed to claw back ?130 on the ylod machine by reviving it enough to trade in.

I got my fat one out of NOWHERE! my dad just came home with it, he wanted a blu ray system so he thought he might as well get us a ps3 Then we got a in january this year slim thats pretty much only played by me, my dad plays games and watches movies on the fat one.

I got a US 60gig at launch and it's going strong. I hope it won't die anytime soon because I don't want the newer PS3s + tons of games to play! Also, I didn't want to pay 599$ at launch (ridiculous price) so I traded a bunch of stuff during a promo at Gamestop and in fact, the thing did cost be 280$ !! .
