Untenanted

Archive: 10 posts

I likely spelled it wrong (Untenanted, nope. Spell check FTW!) but anyway, I think you should check it out. It's considered a horror level, but it's more intense then "scary". Like Signs, that movie with, who was it?, Mel Gibson? Anyway, it's like that. I said something about it on the Silent Hill: Tribute thread, but it died after I posted that, so I'm talking about it here. Also, take the creator's advice and play in the dark. It just makes it that much better. I forget the PSN of the creator, but you can search Untenanted or just check my hearted list, it's there.2009-07-20 17:12:00

I think you mean The Untenanted by Veraegic, awesome level. That's like the only level that was actually kinda scary to me. It also has some pretty nice visuals to go with it so I also recommend this level.2009-07-20 17:20:00

Yeah, that's it. I didn't think the "The" was a big deal, though... Thanks for telling the PSN, I knew it was something like that, but I didn't wanna do it wrong.

I played this multiple times long ago. This and Crows Spectral fear are the only two levels on lbp that i consider reach the creepiness level to be called "scary".At least for lbp.

Apparently he has a sequel coming out, but its been a long time, he probably works slow like me

I didn't find this in the slightest bit creepy... were we playing the same level There were a few jumpy moments, like you get in awful hollywood horror films, but I found it didn't really have much of an atmosphere to it - I have a good attention span but this kinda bored me...

Crow's spectral fear on the other hand, now that was dark and surreal and creepy. As was little dark and stormy night.

Yeah yeah, this. Still had some nice sets, like the kitchens and the cellar was rather demented.

It's kind of hard making a level in lbp with that slowly suffocating horror that immerses you into the game to the point where your proceed with all your senses fully concentrated on the game, because you fear if you let your guard down, you'll be in for one hell of a scare.

...then again I am a bit of a sissy.
