Hmm pretty cool idea but I got bored and let myself die because you can keep jumping to off set the ice slide. Maybe something can be done about that? Although I am not a huge fan of these type of levels keep in mind.2009-07-20 12:35:00

I'll definitely check this out later and update this post with what I think. The reason I'm posting this now is because of the title. "The Slippery Ice" is just a seriously redundant title. Ice is naturally slippery, so it seems sort of silly to call the ice slippery, if you know what I'm saying. It's like naming a level "The Hot Fire". Of course it doesn't seem as catchy if you just take out "slippery" and call it "The Ice", but the title is totally up to you. It is your level, after all.

UPDATE:
Okay so I finally got around to playing this. Before I even started the level, I liked the scenery. You stuck to the ice theme, which was good. The penguin in the background was cute, and I laughed when I saw the flying one, though it falls back and disappears on screen, which is a little sloppy. I'm guessing the front layer is water, but it could be a little more animated and realistic. Once I got going, it was fun, and reminded me of the MediaMolecule Survival Challenge where you ride the cow. Hearing the sound of ice cracking a million times did tend to get a little on the annoying side after a while though, and made the level seem like a chore to play for long periods of time. The movement of the ice floor was very smooth, never jerking around. I couldn't actually tell, but did the difficulty go up at all throughout the level, because it seemed pretty uniform to me. I got first place, and I killed myself as soon as I knew I had the top score. It just gets boring after a while. It wasn't a bad level, just monotonous. To spice it up, I would change up the lighting and add in new hazards after a while. Make stages to it. After certain points in time, add in new things that make it harder and drop more score bubbles. Maybe make the "glacier" jerk around a bit more. I gave it :star::star::star::star:, because I liked it, but it could still be improved.

For F4F, please check out my LittleBigMemory level: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=13198

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll fix the ice cracking issue and try and add in more events as well. I'll also improve the penguins, I didn't know they did that >.<2009-07-23 03:17:00

Commenting here as part of the F4F when you commented on one of my Levels. And I have to say it was a very enjoyable level, you put together the theme very well. It was a bit difficult for me since the falling Ice kept on killing me, but never the less it was alot of fun. I would add more but i was never able to get far enough in the challenge to comment too much on this level. (I'm terrible at survival challenges)2010-07-08 20:47:00
