Title is sort of confusing so I will explain. I am talking about, more or less, the idea of hyping up a game and following its production by watching every trailer and reading every discussion. Would you rather start playing LBP with only a vague idea of what it is about, or know every single detail that has been released to the public. Since this forum has a lot of the latter, I expect this to be a little bias, but still wondering.

If its a game with heavy story elements like an RPG...then I barely want to know the title of the game...due to the possible spoiler it may provide... But for LBP which is heavy user generated content with no real story...I say bring on the info...:hero:

yea... if i saw 1 video of the creat im sure i would play it without thought... once i played it, and found out more about it... i would buy it... unfortunatly... i do know everything thats been made public... so i paid for it IN FULL 3 months ahead of time...

I'm in the minority, I guess. If I could forget everything about the game, I would. I really want to know the joy of just picking it up for the first timie and discovering all these new, great things about it.

I agree...imagine picking it up and by mistake finding out that you can set an object on fire...It'd be so awesome! =D

That's what made playing games way back when such an exceptional experience; you never knew what the hell the game was. These days I find myself trying to go into a media blackout after reading or finding a game that I'm interested in... But my Dark Side never lets me do it to a sufficient degree... ;__; EDIT: It's also why I completely avoid the "Your ideas" section... I want to be surprised. ^^
