Two days ago or so, my cleaning lady accidently ejected the disk while it was in play! She put in back in, apologized, and it played normally. Well, today, it's been really slow. It froze once, and it always says, "Preloading game resources." The load times are longer, and it's really frustrating. I can't even play online sometimes. It just says, "No levels came up,"or something like that. Anyone know what's wrong? Could the ejection of a disk once in play really screw anything up? Thank you very much in advance.

We're having the same thing happening right now so I don't think it's your disk. It's probably server traffic.

I have these problems all the time, I thought it was just my horrible internet connection. I doubt that ejecting the disc while in play could mess anything up though.

I get the pre-loading resources screen a lot. Load times on levels last night were long too. My guess is Ghostbuster giddiness bringing a lot of players on yesterday increased traffic so it slowed down. (Just a theory - I'm not all logic minded)

Same here. The last 2 days have been horrendous for me. It's taking me 2 or 3 minutes just to select a sticker. I've given up twice today and gone back on later but it's still no better.

This started happening with CY, and hasn't gone away since. While CY was pwn, it also brought a hefty chunk of fail along with it.

Same here... but what does the preloading do exactly, since there are times when i play for hours without it appearing at all?

Yeah PSN's and LBPs servers has been weird. I mean heck I even got a 403 yesterday, and a 0x8071053d today.

I've said it before, and apparently I have to say it again: Preloading game resources has nothing to do with online or the servers, it happens even when not connected to the internet or PSN.

Cha, same has been happening to me. Probably server traffic. Don't worry about it, though. This is just temporary and will wear off sooner than you think.

You know once I entered a level mid-load. It looks really weird. Some models and lots of textures and shaders were missing. Haven't seen it since.

Has anyone gotten this? Sometimes after the Preloading screen I get a message that says "Failed to Preload resources" or sometimes a red screen behind the Preloading screen. Its really weird...
