This was a very original way to climb, I've never seen it done quite like this in any other level. Good job there!
However, despite being original, it is also a very hard way to do it. It took me a very long time, I had to restart the level maybe three times due to running out of lives, to get up to his elbow. I never made it farther than his shoulder, I wasn't sure what to do at that point and always ended up crushed inside his armpit. Not a fun way to go. If you can find a way to make the level a bit easier, maybe add some instruction on exactly where to go when you make it to the elbow, that would be very helpful.
Another little issue, work on your scenery a bit. The colossus itself looked pretty good, but try putting the start on a hill or by some trees or something rather than just inside some kind of wallpaper box thing with a big wallpaper wall next to it to stop you going in the wrong direction. The perfect, rectangular shapes look a little out of place. Nature is never perfect. (Or made out of wallpaper but this is little big planet stuff is made out of all kinds of weird things)
One last thing, the correct spelling is Colossus.
