I'm giving it a miss. cute as the costumes are, I don't see me using the stickers. if it had come with sound effects or music I would've picked it up.

I'll only be picking up dlc that comes with useful creator stuff.

I agree, I really can't see myself making any use of the stickers. They are very specific.

$ 5.99 for the costume pack or $1.99 per costume!?

Seriously, i'm not giving money away for costumes (and my parents don't allow me anyway) when it's that much.

Free dlc rules. I'll be happy to head over to the PSN store when a free costume has been released.

And you know how much money you can actually waste on this?
My little brother got to use the credit card of my dad once for the MGS pack, but he kept using it for a month long. Bought about 4 costume kits and a bunch of other costumes. Now he needs to pay $40 to my dad. Sersiously, MM is asking too much for their costumes.

Cute costumes. I ain't gonna buy cause I'm not a fan of GhostBusters.

And if anyone remembered, there was an 80mb update for LBP, no wonder there was this GhostBusters DLC.

I'm guessing it was more than that, most DLC updates aren't nearly that large. MediaMolecule said it was DLC for the next couple months, so it wasn't just Ghostbusters, but included other things that we have yet to discover.

Well the largest pack I think is the MGS Pack.
Alot of things to get..

Materials
Costume
Levels
MGS Trophy
New Tools

Good price for it too, I kinda want it to below 5$.

It just came out here in Canada, so it should be out in the US.

Now I'm off to make something epic with it, and no, it's not going to be a level >

Oh yeah, I saw the pack today.
Like I said I won't be buying.

Sometimes packs get released in Canada cause... Canada was founded by the British.
Then USA, then Worldwide.

my good friend what did you expect? for media molecule to actually CARE about their fans enough to listen to our feedback so they could make something as simple as making all the parts separate?

nah it just wouldn't be Mm without the lack of respect and understanding for their fans

this is nintendo with super smash bros brawl all over again

Don't get your zipper in a bunch. True LBP costume makers can make great costumes with anything.

Wow...
So just because you can't use a "themed costume" part(which is supposed to be to make a specific character) to make an original costume, that makes them a bunch of bad people that don't care for their fans?
It doesn't matter everything else they've done specifically for the fans, just because of this it means they don't care for fans?
I think you're being quite selfish, greedy, and close minded don't you think?

No! No pics for you!!

He glows... you know... like glow in the dark material or paint? He doesn't radiate light like a lantern should.

For a real mind bender - go into create mode - make a background of rubber and a floor of rubber. Then put slimer hat on. Take a black sticker and cover your sackboy (not slimer) now run around infront of the black background area..... spooky & funny at the same time!!!!

Might be a cool technique/suggestion for a player to use in a ghostbusters themed level...

btw - does anyone else just laugh hysterically that they actually have the cute little "tail" following behind him when you run and see him in profile?

I probably won't get the pack because if it doesn't come with any creator stuff (The stickers aren't really that useful) then I don't think its worth $5.99. I'm tempted to get that marshmellow costume for 1.99 though just because it looks cool and squishy . Love the wallpaper as well.2009-07-17 22:31:00

No... that was never stated anywhere. I know there was conjecture about it... but really, why would we need different costumes? They all wear the exact same uniforms and use the exact same equipment. Change the hair and the skin colour and you've got your four main characters right there. It's just the most common sense apporach Mm could have taken. Plus it gives us more costumes without charging us extra for them.

Saying that MediaMolecule doesn't listen to their fans is just a flat out lie. Yes, we do ask for the world, and no, it's not possible for them to make every single thing that we ask for a reality. They continually give us updates that make the software better, whether it be bug patches, new features, or new content. Most games don't get anywhere near the amount of DLC, or feature updates that you have with LittleBigPlanet, if they even get any at all. Never mind the fact that some of it is free, that is normally unheard of in the vast, vast majority of games. We asked for better search, we got it. We asked to hide pistons and string and all the other connectors and bolts, we got it. We asked for a tetherless jetpack, we got it. We asked for new levels and tools, we got it. To be honest, MediaMolecule spoils us absolutely rotten. And on top of all that, the majority of it came for free, or a nominal fee at worst. And you say that MediaMolecule simply disregards everything their fans say? Boohoo, they didn't make the costume to suit your individual needs. Get over it, unless you can code that in yourself. I may seem harsh right now, but honestly, it simply makes me angry when someone can take all of the hard, careful, and caring work done by a group of people, and attempt to discredit it completely. Come back and say that again when you have a game with anywhere near the ingenuity of LittleBigPlanet under your belt that satisfies even the most insignificant wishes of every last fan, and then your words will actually mean something. Your ignorance is disgusting.

And so on...

I know right?
Many have gotten too spoiled and seems that if they don't get something they asked for it makes Mm an evil organisation that according to them does nothing but bring suffering to their fans...
Its kinda sad that a lot people actually think like that and only a handful of people like us don't..

And more sad that its not only on LBP or videogames, but anime and other areas as well...

wow way to attack someone whos just posting their opinion...thought this site was for freedom of speech without having to worry about people attacking me for my opinion...but i guess thats too much to ask for...and a "true costume maker"? please i can make great costumes without any DLC at all. to me it doesnt matter about "skill" i just want more variety... and it isnt asking the world for them to do something as easy as seperating costume parts...if they can even make the No sign on the ghost then they can obviously make it a neck or waist item easily...not doing so means in my opinion that they dont care much for our feedback so much as they just want to make it and sell it...but no go ahead and attack me for posting my opinion...thats fine with me i already get reported on here for stupid things...some i deserve and others where it isnt even my fault but sure go ahead and bash me for it...either way it doesnt change my opinion that Mm doesnt care much for people as they do about money...money does everything...Mm see people buy sticker packs? theyll release more sticker packs...they sell everything at such a high price that by the end of the year your parents would whoop you for wasting more then $100 on 1mb of data for costume packs...oh and asked for level packs and got it?? where are the level packs besides MGS?? and dont even say monster pack because 1 level that gives you decorations and stickers doesnt count at all...thats a level not a level PACK...and when was the last time the news in the left planet was update??? come on give me a specific date and count down how many days/weeks/months until now it hasnt been updated...where is the FFVII pack that was announced when LBP came out along with MGS??? and need i remind people of the 1 week t-shirt and the counters...so i'm not IGNORANT and to be honest that just makes me want to curse you out even more..but im an adult so i wont even waste my time feeding trolls...maybe you should open your eyes next time you talk to me about ignorance and keep your fingers away from the keyboard unless you know what you're talking about...there are tons of things Mm havent done that shouldve been done since release (play create share counters) and just because they distract you from all that with this "neat-o peachy keen" DLC you just make them your bestfriends and attack anyone who has a different opinion...NEVER SAID THEY WERE BAD PEOPLE...all i said was they dont respect us enough and understand us enough to deliver what we REALLY want...but go ahead and call me ignorant...report me because i made you angry with my opinion and BAN me from this whole freaking site just because im not positive 100% of the time when im on here...doesnt change who i am or my opinion over Mm...to me they will always be like everyone else in the world (money hungry company making DLC for high price and such)...call me greedy even though i bought the freaking game and i purchase my DLC...thats greedy of me right? and its too much to ask to seperate costume parts to make customization more fun and endless...oh and as for FREE DLC that you dont barely see??? CROSS EDGE...all i have to say about that

well im finished ranting to the 3 people who just love to talk...enjoy the rest of your day jerks
