Mirror's Edge Prologue: The Edge

Mirror's Edge Prologue: The EdgeShadowmoser
This was my first level on LBP. At the time, Mirror's Edge was out but I didn't have it, so I just played the demo. Based on that, I made a LBP adaptation to the demo, that is actually the whole Prologue. Because it is a little "old", it has its flaws, so I ask to be a little patient =D.

Because at the time I didn't have too much experience in level creating, I like it a lot for being almost exactly like the Prologue and for being very polished and clean. Hope you like it too!

I'm brazilian so my english is not perfect, but I'm trying my best here, ok?

I played it. I smiled at the stuff I remembered from playing Mirrors Edge, and also loved the fact that there was a "street" of sorts at the bottom when you fell.

Two things though:

1. ADD MUSIC. Just playing with the race chimer running the whole time... kinda ruined it for me.

2. Maybe when you fall to the bottom of the street, you could have a car horn sound object when you get too close? Would be cool to have a few sound effects down there of a busy street

Anyway, I'll give this... :star:star:star:star:

Anyway, for F4F... play my Vharley: Chapter 1: the Beginning Level.

Two things too:

1. Aren't you from PS3 Trophies? I saw your name and remembered it ^^.
2. Actually, I would like to add stuff, but, unfortunately, my save got corrupted and I lost everything, that one is actually the one that is online. But at the moment I am playing again the whole Story to get the materials back and remake the level. But thanks for the tips, I'll do my best when recreating it!

I give it :star::star::star: out of five.
I enjoyed it but sometimes the stares got irritating
And sound is always nice
It was really accurate to the demo which is a plus.
Very good for a first try.
your better then me on my fifth try:blush:.

Yeah, I understand that some jumps are a pain, but a hint is to follow the bubbles, most of them are in the right plane of the jump, it is made to guide you. But I look foward to have the remake easier, k? 2009-07-16 00:57:00

It's a fun level, but it desperately needs some music.

It needs a few more checkpoints too, retracing the big part of a level several times is really tedious. Nice to see there are some streets down below when you fall though!

Nice work, although I think there are too many Mirror's Edge levels on LBP now. I think it's worth going for something really original for the next project.

I gave it :star::star::star:

Pretty good, very faithful to the source material, but it's still nothing we haven't seen many times before. It's probably the best done of all the mirror's edge levels that I've played, but there's just so many out there...

I remember playing this a while back and I just replayed it. It still holds up pretty good. If definitely needs some music and some more sound effects (metal squeaks, maybe a little wind, etc.) You did a great job recreating the beginning of Mirror's Edge, but yeah, some of the jumps need a little tweaking. Really, you just need to get rid of the bump on the red ramps. That's the only thing that frustrated me.

Bummer about your save getting corrupted, but I look forward to the remake!
