LOL - this explains a lot about my cats behavior very late at night (attention) and very early in the morning (food)....... I already knew I was regarded as "staff" for the cat but this is another example that they really do own us.

I fill my cats's bowl whenever they come up to me and meow. One of our cats is constantly meowing at me for food! His stomache is like a bottomless pit!! Apparently when a cat purrs it is healing itself. Maybe that's how they get to have nine lives.

You know.... cat's give so much. I don't even know where me and my wife would be without our cats. If they need to play upon our emotions by sounding like a human baby to get their chow.... well, that's fine with me!

He is 15 years old, and I have had him since he was just a kitten. He is perceptive and acts almost human-like sometimes. I treat him like gold though.
