Enemy's ideas

Hi all well Im thinking about doing a shoot 'em up but I want alot of enemy's sub bosses.

I want them to have good set of attack so they dont all feel the same, I will post some idea I come up with later.

I want them to be smart so get thinking

I am take a rest this week from lbp...... well trying too, but Iam still planing stuff.

I did't want to just do a 3rd sky town lever so soon, But I have alot of ideas for that just dont want to give you guys the same old **** lol

How about this: the boss is in a heavily armored tank (or some sort of heavy item). You could have a checkpoint with a paintinator attatched to it. Once you reach the point, you would've gotten the paintinator, and the checkpoint would lift. The boss would be stationary, but you would be put onto a conveyer belt, which means that you would have to leap over debris placed on the belt whilst dodging the various attacks the boss would do, which in turn, when the boss attacks, weakpoints would show, much like the Metal Gear Rex boss in the MGS pack. Once the boss dies, the belt would stop, and you would continue on through the level. Interesting?2009-07-13 05:22:00

Play Deja Boom by LuckyShot I believe. It has a quick, sudden boss that is both fun and interesting, but nothing major. That might give you some ideas.2009-07-13 14:04:00

well here some stuff I was thinking about

just basic stuff like one side take alot more hits and get around back and take it out more easy, as well as have parts that if you hit, you make it worst for youself lol

going to keep think up stuff and some harder ones sub boss like

Make it worse for yourself? Wow, original, nice idea! I'd definitely run with that. Shooting a large area too much would, say, speed the boss up? And only if you hit a small area can you destroy it.2009-07-13 23:44:00

Well, first, good luck with the idea/ project. I haven't exactly got any ideas for enemies for this level that are good, but your ideas are excellent. Keep thinking like that and you'll end up with some excellent enemies!2009-07-14 20:48:00
