My LittleBigPlanet save file says it's corrupt, but it really isn't?

Archive: 8 posts

Every time I log on LittleBigPlanet, it gives me a message that says the save file corrupted. It then tells me to eithere click "Try Again" or "Back." Try Again doesn't work, so I click Back Up, and it works perfectly fine... Uhh, what's going on? Everything goes back to normal, and I am now scared it's suddenly going to break... again.

My first PS3 broke after 12 days. I got 90 percent of the goodies, but I could not take the information with me, so I had to replay the entire game. If this happens again, I will be very upset. I want to be able to tinker with my levels whenever I want with whatever I want...

I've generally been very disappointed with the way my PS3 has been acting. It always has a problem. Always. I've had numerous problems with it, and I just want it to work. Now when I turn it on, I just expect a ****ing error message for God's sakes.

I do not at all mind clicking X every time I boot up LittleBigPlanet, but I am afraid that it will suddenly erase one day. I am currently at The Temple AGAIN, and I have about 70 percent of the objects. It would be excellent if I completed the game, got most objects back, and not have to worry about it deleting again, but I have a feeling that will not be the case.

Please help.

I have the same thing.

It happened after the bigger update (Cornish Yarg I think).

Mm know about it and have said that you should not delete your file or anything since your game isn`t really corrupt and you'll just lose all your stuff. I'm sure if you look up the Cornish Yarg thread you'll find the link.

So your game is fine, you just need to hit X after you start it up.

Almost everyone has this, I think. We're all just ignoring it.2009-07-12 21:11:00

Really? I'm out of the loop, I guess - I'd never heard of this or seen this before... Hope it all gets straightened out.

Do you have a pendrive? if you do backup your game data

And possibley get a new ps3 if your current one is really annoying.
Then place the data from the pendrive to the new ps3.

Yeah, I've had no such troubles either. And I'm on it and in LBP literally every day.

Really? I haven't seen anything official from Mm on this yet.

I used to have this problem, so I sent my save game to Mm but I never got a reply. The problem seems to have disappeared in the druid update though, but it's hard to be sure of the exact moment since I stopped playing for fear of losing my progress.
