I thought I read ages ago that Sony had bought off some of the guys who made Mass Effect so we'd get them on PS3.

The Halo series would be great!
Can't really think of any other game that would be a big MS hit that could go to PS3

I don't think Halo will ever make its way to the PS3. I'd guess Mass Effect, but maybe Gears because I don't think MS owns it do they?2009-07-11 00:00:00

It won't be Fable methinks, and it won't be Gears, it clearly won't be Halo, it BETTER not be Forza... i dunno lol.

I would guess it is Left 4 Dead, because that one has always been on the fence, and it strangely keeps appearing in places as a PS3 title. (Play.com, EA's own site for L4D2, etc.)2009-07-11 00:31:00

It cannot be Halo. Pretty sure MS published Fable 2 as well since Molyneux works for them.

Maybe Mass Effect 2 as it`s EA, or Left4Dead with whoever did the Orange Box doing the conversion again.

Don`t think there`s any legal reasons why Gears couldn`t be ported, but I just doubt it would happen.		2009-07-11 00:43:00

Microsoft owns the IP for Halo so it won't be that, Epic owns the IP for Gears of war, but they said they're sticking to xbox only. I really don't want Mass Effect to be honest, I played the game at my friends and it's really repetitive.

GoW is reliant on the RAM design of the 360... would be a beyond expensive undertaking to port to PS3 (moreso than the usual excuses alot of developers *cough* Valve throw around about dealing with the PS3 architecture)... obviously nothing 1st party, published or backed by MS... so I doubt it will even be anything good like Fable or MAss Effect... Valve hates PS3, so it's not going to be Left 4 Dead, unless EA is handling the entire port themselves as publishers.

I pretty sure that Tales of Vesperia is coming our way even without an announcement, though if that was the big news it would be kinda stupid being that its going on the ps3 just for now in Japan. If its L4D then that article is very misleading; it was never denied that they wouldn't make a PS3 version of L4D. Anyway with L4D2 coming out I wouldn't think anyone would buy it anyway.

Oh and here's the thing I was talking about; OPM said that we would definitely get Mass Effect but N4G (being N4G) says it is rumoured:

Of course we haven't gotten the first but who is to say we won't get sequels?

As far as I know we're getting Crysis 2 but not 1 so it's not completely 'alien' oh har har...

I think it's going to be Mass Effect since Bioware is now owned by EA.

It could also be L4D and EA could port it from the 360 to the PS3 just like they did with The Orange Box. Although EA did a terrible job with the Orange Box port.

I highly doubt Microsoft would ever let GOW, Halo, or Fable get away from them, but you guys can dream.		2009-07-13 16:58:00

Mass Effect definitely.
Bioware is showing a lot of love for the PS3.
And the Italian PSM that came out yesterday has a preview of it saying that the game is very likely to be ported for PS3. (I hope it's true, but I want ME1 too)

The contender is L4D2, that would make sense, since people is boycotting the game, and the game risks to flop. (I don't think)

Tales Of Vesperia demo is already on Japanese's PSN, so it's a given
GeOW is an absolute no. Maybe if Epic mades a multiplat spin off and pulls a MGS: Rising, one day we will see GeOW on a Sony machine (that's the only IP I would steal from 360)		2009-07-13 17:25:00

If we got Halo 3, there would really be not much else for 360 owners to brag about. And it would make a lot of XBots RAAAAGE which would be fun.

But yeah, I'm going with either Mass Effect or Fable.

It won't be L4D. They said when they get a talented PS3 team. That will never happen. They're Valve. They're lazy. It takes them two years to make a game that is five hours long that is almost in no way different from the episode before it.		2009-07-14 06:40:00

Well, the makers have wanted to make Braid for other consoles, and their 1 year exclusivity agreement with Microsoft ends a month after now, when they say it will be revealed...

yeah ever since I have seen the update which says something to the effect that we are a small site its not going to be something huge most likely it will be Braid. Fable 2 is an awesome game i got it on Xbox 360 so i kinda want it to be on PS3 just for the sake of all you Ps3 only owners to try it

You can't imagine how much people from gaming site/magazine knows about games, but they have to keep their mouths shut.
One of my best friends works on GamePro (Edge's Italian Version), and the week ago spoke to me about PES 2011 (yes 2011, not 2010), since he got infos about it from Konami's PR.
But they usually don't speak abou this even with their best friends, since it would mean that they could get fired from work.
He gave me this bit of info because it's nothing astonishing.

So even little sites can have major clues.
NDA are real and actually works.
