Thundersmacker's Motorstormthundersmacker A Vehicle Race Level based on the strategy of vehicle choice. all Yay! My First Level!.....And its a vehicle race level.. This is the first of many versions of this level...so their might be some little problems. There is 6 vehicles in this level which each one has it's strengths and weakness. For example... The Rally Car is fast but can't handle the tough terrain..but vise versa the Monster Truck can glide over the terrain but is slower.. The Thermometer is about 80% full which doesn't leave much room to add anything. There is the option of night and day but no music. So that's about all I have to say about it for now.. Feedback is appriciated so I can improve this level. So go play it and tell me what is bad and good.

I choose the yellow truck for this. I found it a bit unstable and at a couple of stages it almost flipped backwards onto it's roof, so I felt the need to let go both times. On the second time I fell out, but was impressed to see it wasn't too difficult to get back in by climbing onto the front wheel first. Still, the lack of stability is a bit of a concern. I enjoyed the race and thought it really did look like a Motorstorm level. Nice waterfall as well! I would suggest that if possible, it could do with being a bit longer. Very nice effort though. I gave it :star::star::star::star: Tagged it as great I think... something positive anyway, and left a short positive comment for you. Please leave F4F on either of the levels in my signature below.

Yeah I still have to figure out how to get that yellow buggy to stay on all 4's (or 2's) I might make a new buggy that is a bit lower and with softer suspension. Also when I drove the Monster Truck the wheels started to jam up near the body. Yeah, there is some bugs I still have to fix. Also I can make that waterfall taller. And I'm glad you like the level as it is and thanks for telling me those things.

UPDATE: Iv'e built a whole new buggy, SUV, and Monster Truck and as far as I know are having no problems. Also, The level looks almost completly different there is no sun in the sky anymore and the night option has been modified so it is almost pitch black. I've added a opponent vehicle that crashes at the end of the ramp section. A speech bubble keeps the camera on the oppent vehicle until you pass by the wreckage making the camera go back to you. I've also changed the name to Motorstorm Pacific Rift, And added a intro sequence with Max-Diehards MSPR logo. The logo is also the icon for the level now. So.. The level has been (in my opinion) greatly improved. Go play the new version to tell me what you guys think.

There are a lot of Motorstorm levels out there, but I always enjoy checking them out, and I had fun with this one. The vehicles selection is good, with a nice variety of well designed buggies, cars, and trucks. I was kind of disappointed that there weren't any bikes or atv's. The track was pretty good, with a lot of things to look at (loved the use of the balloon for your cement truck!), and other cars on the track. I did end up flipping my vehicle a couple different times and was forced to restart. And while the intro was nice, I got a bit impatient with it during my restarts. But that's just me, I'm always impatient! I'd also suggest you decorate the scoreboard and the area around it a bit more. Overall, a fun Motorstorm level.

Thanks for your responce mrsupercomputer! 1.Sorry The thermometer will overheat if I add any more vehicles But I'm glad you like the design's 2.I'm suprised you noticed the baloon cement truck. :hero: 3.The Intro was added to make it different from other Motorstorm Levels..But I forgot about the fact people want to play again and again.:blush: 4.Yes I can (and will) decorate the scoreboard more. Again Thanks for another great feedback.
