Hello and How's it going, LBPCentral.
My name is DarkFray... Fray for short, thank you.

If you've seen me around LBP, I'm that amazing player with the cool Red Helmet and Armor, running around playing all your cool levels. Well, turns out I'm a pretty Avid Creator too!

I've got three levels up at the moment... Maybe you've played them?
"The Rave": My first level actually! Just a fun little place to dance around and have fun with friends. Its got about 30 Hearts and over 300 plays... Which is honestly unexplainable. xD

"Okami! Costume and Level": An Amaterasu costume I developed a while ago placed in an Okami! Themed level. Really, Its not a level.. but more like a race xD But hey. 30 someodd Hearts aren't making me sad!

And finally...
"Traverse <Onward> (beta)": A Work In progress. I'll probably end up dumping the level and revamping it completely. Its an Adventure/Platform type level that I'm hoping will bring me a lot of attention... but so far its not going so well. I'm only going to continue it if I know that people will like it... but 12 Hearts is getting me down on it.

I've got plenty of levels in mind right now, but after a disaster in one of my other WIP... I'm very close to putting the controller down as of Creating Levels...


Which is exactly why I've turned to you! I've seen a TON of amazing levels dished out from LBPCentral Users, and I want to be a part of that. I hope to become very involved in LBPC soon and look forward to all the support or aid I can give or get!

Ok.. bad joke time. sorry.. but your name reminded me of one a buddy made up.

Thread walked into a bar and ordered a drink..

Bartender says "Hey.. we don't serve thread around these parts! Get out!"

Thread tries a few more times and each time the bartender tells him no thread allowed and gives him the boot. Thread ponders it while outside the bar and decides to tie himself in a knot and loosens his fibers all up. He goes back in the bar and the bartender yells at him again!

"Hey.. aren't you that thread that was in here a minute ago"

Thread says.. "Nope! A frayed knot!" {{i.e. afraid not}}

Yeah.. I thought it was pretty awful too..

Welcome to the site Fray. Most of the community members share your enthusiasm. Also, there's a lot of very useful info in the Forum threads, that could resolve most dilemmas you may be having with your latest level.

Playing LBP is fun, but creating is what got me hooked. I purposefully stayed away from creating for months, while watching my wife create levels (she's Lady_Luck__777), because I knew it would be just like golf, which I am seriously addicted to also. Luckily, the only cost for me in creating is lost sleep...I'm still trying to perfect "sleeping while standing" and "holding an intelligent conversation with my eyes closed". If I can do this successfully, I'll be able to devote even more time to creating...I can dream at least.

Yeah... I remember you. You commented on my "Traverse <Onward>" level telling me that it was lacking and that you wouldn't heart it D:

Then I think you misunderstood completely. What I wanted is people to show support by hearting the level, to give me a good idea of who would want to play it SHOULD I finish it, and take it out of Beta Testing and move it to a complete level. I wasn't begging you to heart it like a petty h4h'er, but rather as a creator seeking to know if an idea would stick.

And I also don't want you to heart it so I can get "Create". I already got it as well as a pretty Platinum Trophy 		2009-07-13 06:44:00
