You mean community levels? I have to agree... the communtiy levels for me are loading so much faster than they used to...
I was just thinking that it was a nice sunny day today and that my wireless internet was feeling healthy too.... orrr MM acturally started to do somthing with their servers..... if thats the case maybe this update finally puts the Play Share Create bubbles working!?		2009-07-09 04:14:00

Of course it's a content pack. This indicate we have DLC programmed for a couple of weeks! Remember it's not because of levels because those aren't downloaded in advance!

im hoping Mm decides to put somethin in LBP where it states what these updates specifically do. i mean it would be a good use of the NEWS section planet thats on LBP thats NEVER UPDATED

I must be hallucinating but "space" looks really weird in the pod now. It's usually just black with a few lights but I see a lot more colors out there now.

Well... I downloaded it, looked all over the DLC planet and all through my Pop-It menus. Nothing new that I can see. I didn't really notice any changes in performance, but then I wasn't really looking in that direction either. So I cannot tell you what this updated is... perhaps just bug fixes?2009-07-09 07:10:00

I reckon it's just a DLC update. 80mb is a lot for costumes though, I'm sure earlier laches were a lot smaller than this, I am starting to think (against all odds) that the Ghost Busters pack is more than stickers and costumes.

I think it will get announced today, not released. They will have a week of build up like they did with the monster pack, ico and 2000ad.		2009-07-09 07:17:00

I've learned not to get my hopes up anymore. Just because it's 80mb that doesn't mean we won't get just another costume and sticker pack. It could be for the next 3 or 4 updates which is why it's so large. If it were really some big kick *** content pack then we would probably get a trailer showing off all the cool stuff. 2009-07-09 11:06:00

In fairness, the marketing for DLC seems to be moving towards a model of teasers. The moster pack was kinda mentioned in well in advance but not the scale of it. Other recent DLC has had little posters preceeding any announcements. The "big dlc" that was "accidentally" (I'm not convinced how accidental that was) announced on twitter, etc etc etc.

Adding a patch and not announcing what's in it generates interest - 32 responses already, and fits with teasing strategy. There has to be something in there. Why bother rushing out trailers when they can just let us do the hyping ourselves 		2009-07-09 12:22:00

Took me about 15 minutes to download but I can say it's not made any improvement to the servers so it wasn't any sort of fix for that.

Of course it has come with some new bug as we have come to expect. I've just played a few levels and tried to heart them but it won't let me now. I'm pressing the X as normal but it's not making any sound at all. I tried about 10 times to heart a level but it just wouldn't do it.

Also the first time I got an invite after the update I got the usual 'failed to load player profile' message so there's no change there either.

I did edit a level and republish and the saving after editing seemed a bit quicker but maybe that was just because it's not so busy at the moment because the publishing still took as long as before.

Why can't they just say what it's for. Is it so difficult ?		2009-07-09 14:21:00

STILL didn't download the update (**** you, good games!)
My guess would be Ghostbusters pack. Whatever kind of pack it is...Hopefully a level pack. And a lot of other DLC.

i downloaded it last night pretty much as soon as it was available but since i installed it lbp has frozzen 3 times. all of which i was just in my pob waiting for it to finish loading after starting it up is this happening to any one else??

also does anybody have a black screen problem. i've had this for along time it just goes black for about 2 - 3 seconds and then it's alright. not really a massive problem but it can be frustrating....		2009-07-09 14:52:00

I've had this problem for quite some time. Eventually it hearts, just keep trying. I think it has something to do with the world icon. You just have to wait a bit. 		2009-07-09 15:09:00

DLC comes in updates. We had moderate sized ones before the monsters pack and before the create pack. You don't think that all the stuff in the mosters pack fits into that 1 MB that you download when you buy it do you? You have all the DLC on your system whether you buy it or not. Buying just unlocks it.

It's like a room where your pod is attached to the ceiling with a rope. and there's more stuff haning around. (like your moon and information moon) and then it's supposed to look like space ...

pretty sure its not in space if you look close you can see you are in somebody's room you can see the corner of the room and when you jump into a level you can see the molding at the bottom of th wall and the floor a bit. thats why everything has strings on it is hanging from the cieling of the room. ithink the wall paper they have in the room throws people off to not really notice it is a room right away		2009-07-09 20:15:00

403 = forbidden.
