Escape from a creepy houseOerjeke
Pretty simple: you are a sackboy who wake's up in a mysterious house and tries to find his way out. Level uses stickers as objects.
all
Feel free to play (and heart )
I have got some pretty good comments about the level. The level is beautiful, atmospheric and fun to play. One of my friends even said that he was pretty scared while he played the level even though there was nothing to be afraid of

But, feel free to play and leave a comment

(I'll try to add some screen-shots soon)

Man, this is awesome, it feels just like an horror game somehow; the house is enormous and well done (maybe the corridors are a bit too long, and when you don't know what to do it's a bit confusing) and the comments fit perfectly, you did a great job with them.

I managed to get killed by the knife in he kitchen and to get stuck in the first room, in the basin (for this one you culd use some invisible material to fix it easily); you should glue the items in the bedroom, the one on the left of the bed, since a tv smashed on the floor is never a good thing; i noticed also that the fishing hook and string remained in the switch activator section after i used them; i was a bit disappointed when i got out of the house, i was expecting something silent hill-ish

I lost a lot of time with the "puzzle" on the roof, thinking that the correct symbol would open the way to the basament, so i kept going and coming back, until i got the right one (at the 4th try, lucky boy ); maybe i'm the only one who did something like this, but if i'm not then you should find a different solution (maybe a bit of platforming?)

overall: 4/5 and tagged cool + <3

Nice one! Loved the old school text adventure feel, having the ability to examine objects by grabbing them was sweet! Also liked the use of light switches. Obviously I wanted the lights on, but it was cool that they weren't just on already like every other LBP house, and it also helped up the creepiness. Your choice of background music definitely took away from the creepy vibe you were going for though. I'd suggest cries to the wind or the appliance of science. Maybe even one of the MGS tunes if you want it really intense ;P
I found the keys VERY annoying. Whenever I found one I was running all over the house trying random doors with it trying to figure out which one it unlocked. Maybe add a thing so when you grab a locked door it says something like "the lock looks old and rusted" or "the lock is small and made of polished brass" or "the lock is ornate and made of gold" and then you know the key that matches that description must go there.
Another little issue I had was the spinning wheel puzzle with all the symbols. You used a 3 way switch which was good, but you should have set it to direction instead of on/off. I wasn't a huge issue, just a little thing that would make it easier on the player a bit.
I still had a lot of fun with this level and it was a lot better thought out than most. Great job!

I haven't played a level like this in a long time, so finally finding one was a treat. The slow fade intro was cool and set the atmosphere for the house nicely. The dialogue felt natural and wasn't boring or a wall of text (straight and to the point). I liked how nice the house looked and the detail you put into it. The level had a creepy vibe and the way we found/interacted with the environment was very straightforward. I liked finding each key and getting one step closer to escaping from that house of horrors.

There were a few things that bugged me though, but they aren't too major. Outside of each room, the house seemed bare. adding some couches/chairs/tables could fix that. Like someone else said, try telling us where each key goes with some descriptions of each door. The note outside the room seems out of place, I think it'd be better at the wheel its describing. My only other suggestion is that if you make another, make it

I'd prefer feedback on Morning Rush.

Shorty short comment: Cool style of gameplay, fun to play and different from other common levels. Lacking of character( you could add more decorations or texture to your walls/floor or even new lost people or DEAD people) ****2009-07-21 20:01:00

I liked this level because it was well - planned and there was only one minor technical problem that I found. (the stairs to the basement were too cramped)

I also found that the level could use more special effects such as creepy noises, and also some furniture or creepy fireplaces and stuff especially in the main hallway.
:star::star::star::star: for a unique, planned out level.

I really enjoyed this one because it had some nice eyecandy and detail but it an excellent gameplay aspect as well. Very well done. Really had fun. My only suggestions would be to fix a tiny amount of dissolve material visible on some doors. Also I was sad when the level ended because I wanted more.

For F4F check out the level in my sig.

Well thanks again for the feedback you gave earlier! I have to say I enjoyed this level! The point and click feeling was nice! More so the point and click in you level because it uses stickers!
The level played nicely except for the stairs to the basement, it was quite cramped there! Like somebody else said, it was quite weird how the fishing hook and wire stayed a sticker switch unlike everything else..Also maybe you could add a magic mouth before the screwdriver. I had to check the inventory to see what it was while everything else was quite clear.
Another thing is that the puzzle area's magic mouth kinda extended into the bedroom. Try to reduce the proximity. The ending was kinda lackluster, but it's okay!
The only major gripe I have is that this level wasn't creepy a all. You said in the description that there's nothing to be scared of, and that was true! But the thing is that the name is escape from a creepy house. Maybe something else will do? That painting was creepy though! Either change the name or add more atmosphere. Maybe make it pitch black and give the player only a candle to see in those long hall ways? Creepy noises and utter silence helps keep fear! Maybe something pop up!
All in all it was a nice little level and i hope to see more! This level was a fun one, reminded more of like one of those "crimson room" games.
