Is there away To De-emit something??

Well, there's the time limit option...

Failing that, you could probably have it be made of dissolve, and have it emit some complicated mechanism as well that dissolves it when it's done.. .Eh, someone's probably got a better answer...

Maybe me?

You could set the emitter's limit for the number of item at the same time to 1, so all you need to do is move the emitter away to change the spawning position of the item accordingly (presumably in an unreachable area) ant then activate the emitter again

I hope i gave the idea feel free to ask

Just thought about it...but you can put the emitter on a moving block with a piston triggered by a proximity switch, when the sackboy activates the switch the emitter moves to a point when it can't emitt anything anymore.2009-07-07 22:10:00

It doesn't work, i just tried: if the emitter doesn't emit anything, then its previous emitted items won't disappear, so you need to activate it so that it emits something or nothing will happen =

Hey thanks shadow heaven and omega slayer... it's taken abit of tweeking and some pistons but i've got it working great. but i still wish that you could just dissolve any material, sometimes dissolve met looks completely out of place.2009-07-08 00:30:00

I know it sounds like the problem has been solved, but i should really reccomend this demo on demitting by RTM223. heres a link to his thread in teh object showcase.

I didn't know, I had a problem with emitters the week ago, and couldn't come out of it.
But yesterday I got that but I couldn't try it.
It was only theory.

Yeah, what burnvictim said the second level I uploaded has plug-and-play logic systems to control demitting as well. THey are quite robust and got around some of the subtler issues I found with this technique.

If you come across any problems in future with this sort of thing, give me a shout, because it can be a little unstable!
