Sackboy kinda looks like....

Archive: 11 posts

OMG!! Who had Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, for the GameCube. Well if you didnt there was a kinda miningame called Chao World (think it was) and there were these cute little creatures you had to take care of and raise called...Chaos (pronounced like the french word for goodbye, but with an 's' signifying plural).

Anywho these things remind me of Sackboys, heres a few pics of them:

Au revoir is french

And yeah, I had that on my GBA, but I never got the hang of looking after the critters ;/

Sackboy is way cooler than Chao. And Chao's look kinda silly imo, sackboy is better.2008-09-05 23:15:00

Ok I'm a biligual resident of Quebec, so I can confirm that although we do say Ciao alot, it is indeed not of french origin

And having had a brazilian girlfriend (many many years ago) and having taken spanish and italian courses in the past, I can tell you that Ciao, or Tchao -or whatever other spelling of that word- is common to many latin languages. It's common in Portuguese, Italian and Spanish as well I believe. And yes, it is commonly used here in quebec, but usually with a very heavy french accent :arg:

(Hah, Code, I just noticed your avatar, hilarious, are those puppies?!)

They do have a vague similarity but the key difference is that I want to spend time playing Sackboys game whereas I found Chao gameplay to be a tedious chore.2008-09-05 23:46:00

I was born in Florence, Italy...

Ciao...is Italian for hello and goodbye...situation based

I cannot deny or confirm any other languages using this word...
