If you don't know what a sprite is, click here. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spriting) I'd say that I'm a somewhat accomplished spriter. I made my avatar, in case you were wondering. Here are some examples of my works: http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t4/MarioFan222/zoomzoomracerguy.png -- A character called "Racerguy" (made by a guy called "DKRF" or something) for a competition at another forum. I made a crappy walkcycle for it but I'm not going to post it. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t4/MarioFan222/nurgph.png --Meh, made this completely out of boredom. Tons of flaws that I'm not going to bother to fix. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t4/MarioFan222/ItsthemoneyyoucouldbesavingwithG-2.gif -- I love this one. http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t4/MarioFan222/walkallaround.gif -- Just a simple walkcycle, nothing too much. I think it needs more contrast. Whoops, didn't see "Artwork and Creativity," move please.

Well i've made animations in paint a few times when i was bored at school, and the result wasn't too bad I enjoy drawing with pixels, and then i usually port them over to flash to animate or make games out of them My skills don't go far beyond drawing really small and simple pictures with black outlines I've never known how to do shading or anything like that! I actually bookmarked this forum a few days ago in hope that i could learn something there http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php

I enjoy the art of spriting. I actually have a thread that you should check out, it's called Sage's Video Game Spriting. Nice job on the walkcycle.

I tried getting into spriting a few years ago, but I found out I don't have the kind of patience it takes to do it well... I did make a few lame animated GIFs of sprited I ripped off various sprite-sites. (Hehe, that sounds funny) If I had the time and/or patience, I'd probably try to get back into it, though...
