Well, after several days of hard work, and things breaking, I have finally published my stickered up level! It's been a while since I published a level, but I finally had the time to work again!

I followed a strict guideline for this level, that I will follow for the next issues as well. This guideline is: SSS. What is SSS? Well that's easy; Story, Stickers, and Secrets. Some of you may know my love for stickers and cardboard, and I really put that into my level, as the only materials I used where a bit of dark matter, wood, and glass, and a HECK of a lot of cardboard. I detailed the cardboard well to make it pretty, but then added stickers to spice it up and make it very artsy. Then I pretty much added a whole other level, just by making secrets.

Now, if you don't have the Jon Burgerman and Killzone pack, you probably won't be able to get to the secrets, but there are ways.

Now, I should really tell what the level is:

Jump into a theater and view a comic filled with a deep story and strange characters. Flip the page to view different scenes, and use stickers to find secrets hidden within the level. This level shows that stickers and cardboard can make something as beautiful as levels covered in tons of materials and little stickers.

Ok, if you want to be able to activate all the sticker switches you will need these stickers:

Green Welly Bow
Huge Eye
Yellow Teeth
Number 6
Single Bullet Hole
Explosion
ROFL

Hints for secrets:
"Doing math may actually be worth it..."
"Rainbows want to frown too, but only lips can do that..."
"Assassinate the sun and you may find family."
"Rainbows like to take on suns with tongues."
"Only when the brothers are down, may the night rise."
That's all of them! Good luck!

To show you what the spawn looks like, heres a screeny, but I don't want to show anymore as they would ruin the story.

There are some parts I want to detail more in the secret area, and I will do that tomorrow.

I hope you enjoy it! (I'm doing F4F!)

.. wow... I just... wow...

I thought this was going to be placing stickers in the actual comic book or something... but, um... placing them in random places, and having to have a useless 2 dollar pack to do anything...? And by anything, I mean the... cat... things...? Because cats had a... wow. And, uh... why'd you put that 6 there...? What could possibly have led someone to place a 6 on that spot? Any real reason, or... and then you need that... I'm... disappointed, cog, I must say I am... The idea behind sticker hidden areas is good, but really... did you have to make it so that you need those two things to get anywhere, and have it so randomly placed... all to lead to random cat pictures...?

Anyone reading this and getting put off, he didn't actually play the real level, and he played only half of the secret area. (SECRET being the point.) So ya...

Great visual style, but when I played it, the bullet hole and explosion weren't trigger stickers. 2009-07-04 03:56:00

Really? Did you use then and they worked? Because if you didn't use them, then you probably have the wrong stickers.

Thanks anyway!

No, I own all of them, they just weren't trigger stickers. I could not place the bullet hole sticker or the explosion.2009-07-04 04:37:00

Weird... I don't know what to say, they work for me.

Still a very cool comic, I really wanna find out what happens next . How did you manage to makesure everything would brake when the next "screen" would come down? Or was it just a matter of plainly squishing the previous frame until it broke?2009-07-04 06:33:00

When you grab the 'page flipper' it kills itself and the scene. They have brains on them.
