I posted a thread in the level showcase the other day (which still hasn't gotten any feedback. Just a little would be great) for the short prologue to my "You Must Help Us" series. I didn't describe the series in great detail there, so I thought I would make a thread for it here. The story goes like this: Sackboy was posting on a website one day, minding his own business, and in passing, remarked that he could do anything. That night, he gets a strange message on his computer, asking for his help, because they simply assumed he meant what he said online. At first, he refuses, thinking it to be a joke. The sender persists. Sackboy tries to run downstairs, but has his path blocked by an unknown force. Reluctantly, he agrees to help them, and your adventure begins. They try to bring you to their world, but something goes awry. The teleporter has malfunctioned. But then, you hear a cry for help in the night. The otherworldly beings that brought you there were unhappy that you initially refused to help them, so as a perfect way to hone your skills to be the savior they need, you must seek out and aid the person who made the cry for help if you ever want to get home again. It sounds somewhat complicated, (mainly because it is) but so far it's been very fun to make. I've started on part one, which takes place in an icy forest world. Feedback is always appreciated.
