this was just something thats been bothering me. who would win in a fight. solid snake or master cheif what do you think

Pretty much depends on where they're fighting and what weapons/equipment they have. Any specifications? (lol, you should've added Samus as she's kinda like Nintendo "equivalent" to them )

Personally, I think the Chief would win. Has stronger armour, laser weaponry, and has grenades that STICK to ya. But that's just my opinion. Who we really need is... OLDAGE!!! Git Yer But Down Here!! We Have A Solid Snake Comparison Test!!

(lol, you should've added Samus as she's kinda like Nintendo "equivalent" to them ) i really dont think snake is sonys equivilant to chief or samus since his games are base on stealth and arent even fps's The equivilant would most likely be nathan hale on topic, cheif would win hands down, im not saying snake isnt completely amazing but cheifs suit would just be too much of an atvantage in a fair fight, sure like silver said it depends on equipment and terran, Lets just say fairly standard so cheif with a BR and pistol and snake with a knife and handgun, Cheif just has too many atvantages, armor, jumping ability, training, and im pretty sure the suit would make him immune to CQC and knife attacks, not to mention tranqs and yes i have played both characters games

but if snake gets his vehicles and weapons then so does chief. Cheif has advanced grenades (plasma, sticky,) and other tools (bubble shield ect) not to mention he has his own rocket launchers, sniper rifles and other weapons.

I don't really care =_= who would win in a fight is like asking who has better smelling breath >_> But if you were to ask... who is the better character. It'd be Snake, by miles. Master Chief is such a badly developed character... you really don't give a sh*t what happens to him ingame >_>... whereas when Psychomantis can predict your every move..... you'll be mashing buttons in a cold sweat trying to save snakes *** and yeah, Silverleon's right. Nathan hale is the main character of the Resistance Fall of man and Resistance 2 games by insomniac, considering it was a Ps3 launch title im surprised you havent heard of them And i disagree, i believe its possible to look objectively at the question and give an unbiased answer based on the facts present. Whether or not anyone does doesnt really matter i just dont think its fair to generalize an entire discussion topic to squabbleing fanboyism

Back on topic, most people will base everything on who's they're favorite character or who they prefer of the 2, as they will not favore the character they dislike or bash on the character they like. Yes there are some people who won't, but there don't appear to be any in this thread other than me , Pitcard and maybe you (not sure yet). So this thread is based on fanboyism rather than facts

I heard you from far away :arg: anyway...solid snake, hands down. he uses the best sneaking methods ever (cardboard box ftw) and can make you laugh, cry, mad... with the help from special ammo. master chief on the other hand...only his helmet looks cool.

I don't have an Xbox, so I'm not a fanboy, but let's just compare the characters: Master Chief: Super Robot Soldier Man Has incredibly powerful alien guns Shiny and green, believes camo is for wusses Fights aliens, some of which are really stupid and some that are still aliens and are pink. Regenerates health if you can avoid being hit for two seconds. Now lets look at Snake: Really old, he's only 500 even though he's actually like, 30 Stealthy if you can't see a man in brick colored clothes hugging a wall Can buy ammo and weapons on the spot. Has the Mk III Fights other old timers, as well as hot babes with guns. I would say that Snake would lose, but that's just me. I think that Snake really isn't PS3's master chief. Kratos would definitely kill Chief. I can actually think of Snake killing Chief, though. Chief isn't one for stealth or caution, he can pretty much take anything, so when I played Halo 2 I just pretty much ran around looking at enemies holding the trigger button. I could see that, with this recklessness, how Snake could sneak up behind him, hit him with the Mk II, or get him from far away with a sniper rifle. I recall in Halo 2 going invisible, but I thought that was only with the pink aliens, and Snake can get Stealth Camo and the Bandanna, so it'd be a pretty even match. Kratos vs Master Chief, though, that wouldn't even be fair.
