Easier music management

I have no idea how hard this would be to implement but I would love it if when your in your pod you can hold all the shoulder buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2) to control the radio like: (While holding all shoulder buttons) Left D-Pad=Previous Track Right D-Pad=Next Track Up D-Pad=Volume Up Down D-Pad=Volume Down Left on Left stick=Rewind Right=Fast forward Up=Skip through track (like every 10 seconds) Down=Skip back through track Square=Stop X=Pause/Play Triangle=Takes you to the music player screen L3=Shuffle R3=Repeat What do you guys think? | 2009-06-28 21:42:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
These features would certainly be useful, and having a significant programming background, I can say it would not be that difficult to code or implement. For a programmer to say otherwise, they would have to be incompetent or just plain lazy. Sorry for the end ranting...a little peaved at the moment on an unrelated issue...which I can't discuss right now. Rick | 2009-06-29 02:30:00 Author: RickRock_777 Posts: 1567 |
L1 would be the only shoulder button needed, all it does is show names, so might as well make it useful | 2009-06-29 20:17:00 Author: crazymario Posts: 657 |
I use L1 sometimes . Just thought of something that would be way easier. In addition to putting music player first on the start screen instead of reset pod decoration (seriously, what's the point of having it first? That should be deep into settings somewhere), make it so when you press Select in create mode or in the pod it takes you to the music player screen. Why would you want to good grief something in your pod or create mode? Select is unnecessary in these areas. | 2009-06-30 05:56:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
So once the player screen pops up, you just move your stick to the feature you want, rather than make each button and stick perform a different function? That would be even better. | 2009-06-30 07:39:00 Author: RickRock_777 Posts: 1567 |

This way you don't have to remember what each button does and also it would probably be easier to program right? | 2009-06-30 18:16:00 Author: brnxblze Posts: 1318 |
Most definitely easier to program a feature like this. | 2009-07-01 04:54:00 Author: RickRock_777 Posts: 1567 |
